Is it an agregator for bridges or does it use its own? Does it have an explorer case swap takes too long to execute? Like, axelar has the option to “push” / “recover” the funds through their explorer

That's why you should use Gearbox passive side even more so.
1) If a lending market is built properly and has collateral limits - no, not the same. You are not 100% exposed to the same asset. Plus a lender can see where is what (f.e https://app.gearbox.fi/pools/0xe7146f53dbcae9d6fa3555fe502648deb0b2f823/assets)
2) Also, depending on what oracles and LTVs are used, in a lening market (a lender) can be seen as a senior lender compared to everyone else. Why: it is because if the collateral asset price drops, liquidations kick in. So if other places are 1:1, those lenders end up holding the toxic bag. But if you have more real oracles and safer LTVs, you will liquidate first. So as a lender, you are safer.
For example, most of VCs and onchain funds made money on UST, because they saw the pools depleting and exited before retail could.
Shows how complementary it can work (and not redoing your own chain as such, I am not suggesting rebuilding the whole stack)
