good journalism is good for its own sake, not for compensation. it's not something everyone can comprehend, though. even after reading it a few time. to take something good and make it accessible to all, after reading it once...that requires great journalism. there are not that many people in the world who can do it, maybe a thousand. many who actually are capable, never really get the chance to dedicate themselves to it. and some fear being honeypotted and targetted. anonymity tech must mature first, i believe. but yes, sure, network effects economics would be great for spreading great content that already spreads anyway...but even faster.

I was transferring ETH from OP to Arbitrum on Merkly Hyperlane. However, the funds never arrived. Yes it’s not capital efficient - Hyperliquid would need to support cross collateral margin for that (essentially your collateral would need to be margin for the short). It can be done now but it’s not capital
Efficient and risks getting liquidated on the short unless you watch it very carefully and have a lot of collateral on Hyperliquid

So far neither TRUMP nor MELANIA “brought crypto adoption”. They rugged new users whereas those who never used crypto - used moonshot to buy the top - and never interacted with the chains again. Acquiring this data to where such an analysis could be run was harder than expected. In tradfi funds all give return data, vaults mostly give nominal pnl and nominal account value making it a PITA to run such an analysis
