Cointribune has improved the quality of its content over the last 1 year I think and they've launched a crypto model. I've been told it's been a success, but I have no proof.

Distribution is the core issue in all things media.
Journalism, music, film. Traditional media has a huge head start, but anyone can use their tools today.
Blockchain seems like a great fit for a system of royalties and rewards all along the food chain, from content creators, to editorial team, to end user promoters.
Even the p2p media distribution has been sorted already, even though I'd argue it's not as important as the independent publishing, rewards and copyright back end.
End customer can be a complete normie and yet understand the value of having access to untainted content, or at least content with known provenance.
It's beyond me how in the sea of media crypto projects I don't see anyone focusing the mainstream distribution to a regular user.
If you know any, I'm happy to be proven wrong.
