the only good thing farcaster offer right now is their spam repo per user which you can just use as a whitelist checker in case. i spent huge shit tonne of time there for 2 years and can say that the daily active users of those days are nowhere to be found nowadays—not a FUD.

Agree - regulation will preclude permissionless DeFi from utilizing these tokenized securities as collateral... The dream is RWA/Stocks/Crypto all in one place, or at least having exposure to non-correlated stuff without offboarding - working on that... Although now, we are already able to work through some partners to use ETFs as yield source on-chain and we def can use tbills already.

good question though - I’m not making the case against tokenization writ large which i think is inevitable over a long enough time frame but rather the case that the more immediate need is for a trader friendly primitive :)

I hope there isn't anything as the crypto capital of the world. Crypto is about cyberphunk and it's beyond nations and I just hope the big crypto project folks present here do disseminate this and keep on reminding the public.

The only good outcome could be that now every nation will start thinking on maintaining a crypto strategic reserve.

Social graph can be used to prove some reputation layer based dynamics. It makes sense there. Yet, when you are dealing with the current state of that graph data, you see how soul-ruggingly unstructured it is. Better focus on the X aka Twitter graphs and try to hedge it with the so-called onchain identity data a la social.

Don’t you think though there is a big market up for grabs for toeknized stocks being used as collateral on lending markets? I guess the size is not comparable with expected volume on the stocks itself, but is something I do envission happening (both stocks and indexes)
