So as my runway is ending so I was thinking that one of the biggest benefit of deploying any app logic on-chain is that it keeps running and I won't be forced to close my app because of non-payment of server costs etc.
But the frontend with APIs and server side rendering and the complex backend still need to be hosted in cloud.
So, even with all the multiple L2s and multiple use case specific blockchains/app chains which all are promising faster txns and lower costs and everything but the reality is that I still can’t host my entire app stack in a fully decentralized system without worrying about any server costs or such.

DoubleZero seems like a lot of words to basically say they want to control the mempools of arbitrary blockchains without actually saying that plainly by suggesting they can filter spam, duplicate and unsigned tx.
Something that a bunch of services today like mevblocker or flashbots already does?
Helium is about actual physical hotspots for wifi access… it’s dreamy but it’s not trying to pretend being something else. It would be cool if it succeeded imo.
apparently Eric Schmidt (their main backer) wants to see the stress-test in 2 weeks, so we should be seeing the results soon
