Unlock the bootloader in your Chinese X40 and install the firmware you need - RETUS.Immediately after installing the RETUS firmware, without loading into the system, use the command - fastboot oem config carrier retus. This will allow you to receive OTA updates to the RETUS region.
To install firmware in another region, use only - item 5.
