It's called /channel/daysandbox_bot

Yeah, I don't know how all this works, I think I remember getting some automated notice to that effect when I joined some group. But, to be fair, I might also just mix that up, and it was a tg group where no links were allowed, and the timeout for new users was on some "normal" forum.

the only sort of hack is to make all permissions basically 0...then make everyone that I believe to be real a mod and remove all mod permissions except talking and posting links, etc.
And while that would work... there's no way for me to know if a new person that joins is legit or not... because they can't say anything.
Rose basically does that too, the problem is that the bridge operates on the API level

The only way around that would be to make the channel private... and I don't know if you can once its public... Also that'd have to be done by the channel owner (Ken) and he's busy with other things in life.

has to be done in some automated manner, I dont believe telegram has IRC like abilities where permissions have to be granted. There's the default permissions that everyone gets and then you can limit from there. You can decrease default permissions, but then you cant raise them individually without making the person a mod.
