💡We want to announce some important changes in our system starting this week:
1️⃣Changes to Referral Registrations: To promote healthy diversity in our community, we’re implementing a soft restriction on referral registrations from the same IP. Users clicking on the same referral link from the same IP will still be registered, however, the referral connection will not be established. What this means is that a user with an already registered IP can join our platform, but the link to the referring user will not be saved. Thus, even if the new user fulfills all necessary activities, points will not be rewarded to the referrer.🌐
2️⃣Updates to Karma Rewards: In order to better align reward distribution with active participation, all Karma rewards (with the exception of sharing and refer-a-friend rewards) will only be issued if the user has an active session in the Store at the time of the reward-triggering action. An active session is defined as 12 hours from the last login. ⚠️This change implies, for example, that rewards for validation voting will only be issued if the user has logged into the Store beforehand and their session is still active. However, this restriction does not apply to rewards initiated by other users (sharing apps/hot offers and referral rewards).⛓
3️⃣Increasing Minimum Limit for Referral Rewards: To incentivize meaningful participation from invitees, we are raising the minimum amount of Karma an invitee must earn for the referrer to receive a referral reward. Currently, an invitee must earn 50 Karma for their referrer to receive their referral reward. We are increasing this threshold to 250 Karma.🛡
