Dead Poets Society and modern man
Greetings Gentlemen; I want to have a discussion regarding one of my favorite movies as mentioned in the title, and if anyone of you have watched this movie(Dead poets Society) ,please give me your opinion.
The context of the movie is a group of students tend to lean towards artistic literature through their English Tutor Mr.Keating. I'm focusing on Neil Perry; who's the heart in this movie, a young man who's passion to be an actor was stripped away from him, because his parents wanted him to become a Doctor, especially his father.
Ultimately Niel took his own life because his parents failed to hear his voice.
This resonates with me a bit because for almost a year I followed a degree which never suited me, and I took the courage to confess this to my parents and start following what I love, but not every guy would get that opportunity and some young men tragically meet their demise.
Feelings aside; this is a catastrophic phenomenon faced by a lot of men, inconsideration of their voice, telling them to "man up" and to overcome that emasculation, a lot of men simply stops using their voice.
When it comes to the Male Loneliness Epidemic, women and especially feminists assume that men are lonely soley based on the fact that women are prefering to stay single rather than commiting for a romantic relationship, completely weaponizing a problem which men face NOT ONLY because of the lack of romance, but; when our voices are not heard, when our voices are taken as a joke, when our voices are taken as a sign of emasculation, sometimes men can't even confide in their own family because of this phenomenon, and ultimately this leads men towards escapism through deadly habits or they tragically decide to take their own lives.
Starting from the big 2026, how should men like me strive towards some light?

The world of books is becoming an increasingly unfriendly place for men
Firstly, almost every time I go into a bookshop I see many misandrist and gynocentric books. It literally happens every time. Bookshops are toxic as hell -when is the public gonna have that discussion.
Also I've been looking at the most popular new authors in recent years and only about 30% of them are men. Clearly a space that, today, is built by women and for women (a good share of whom are likely misandrist bigots just based on the sort of books that get published).

What do you think about the take that “we don’t have a gun violence issue, it’s a men issue”
I’ve seen a TikTok of a woman claiming gun violence isn’t the problem, it’s men. Tbh if we look at statistics it is mostly men who commit these crimes. How would you respond to this?
I think that it shows there is a problem with how men are treated. People only use gun violence as a last resort. These people feel like it’s the only choice. They feel depressed and angry or in the case of gang violence, they’re usually in those gangs because of poverty. I think the fact that it’s mostly men who commit these crimes show that we owe men some sympathy. We need to help them. It’s not like the urge to kill people is innately built into men. Men feel isolated and alienated which leads to depression and frustration which leads to violence either towards themselves or others. We need to do more for men and shaming them will only make it worse

teenage girls have spent the last year making people go viral on Tiktok by making up false SA and child grooming allegations against them; ruining the lives of many. The first victim of theirs told me that they lost many friends because of it and could not look at children the same again. For me I lost my brother which mattered the most and also lost a huge music collab that would have surely boosted me up. For others, they lost friends and support from close ones too. TLDR; group of teenage girls almost make me go viral in August by making false SA and grooming allegations against me. In September they admit they made it all up. By December, they were making new allegations against me and ended up doxxing me and a friend. The same month, a past victim of theirs (who went tiktok viral because of the accusations) messages me and shows me that they've been doing this since before me. Me and the past victim and other victims of theirs have teamed up and we managed to contact one of their parents about their behavior online. One of the other people are now having their school contacted in hopes it reaches their parents. I can not believe a trio of teenage girls have been ruining innocent lives by accusing people of SA and making it go viral on Tiktok....this is quite disturbing behavior....

American GREVIO (MESECVI) asks for Censorship against "Gender Disinformation" and demands "Gender Perspective" rules for online contents to fight "Digital Violence"
American (Inter-American, ie both for US, Canada, North America and Latin America) Equivalent of GREVIO, "MESECVI" (Mecanismo de Seguimiento de la "Convención de Belém do Pará") asks for Censorship against "Gender Disinformation" and demands Contents with "Gender Perspective" online. I quote:
"On December 10, the Follow-up Mechanism to the Belém do Pará Convention (MESECVI) completed the process of adopting the Inter-American Model Law to Prevent, Punish, and Eradicate Gender-Based Digital Violence against Women.
The new regional instrument was adopted in Fortaleza, Brazil, within the framework of the XXII Meeting of the Committee of Experts (CEVI) and the X Conference of States Parties (CEP) of MESECVI, an organ of the Organization of American States (OAS).
This new Model Law has a comprehensive scope, covering the prevention, punishment, protection, redress, and non-repetition of digital violence.
The main novelty of the Inter-American Model Law is that it addresses digital violence in a comprehensive manner, recognizing it as an extension of gender-based violence that is amplified online.
This results in a broad catalog of punishable behaviors, including harassment, gender misinformation, digital surveillance, and the use of discriminatory algorithms. Its approach is intersectional, protecting women, girls, and adolescents in all their diversity, including historically discriminated groups.
A central and innovative aspect is that the law establishes the joint responsibility of multiple actors, not just the state.
For example, it imposes clear obligations on internet intermediaries (digital platforms).
These must guarantee algorithmic transparency, content moderation, preservation of evidence, and the timely removal of violent content, ensuring shared digital governance.
Finally, the instrument goes beyond criminal sanctions, focusing on prevention and transformative redress. It requires digital literacy with a gender perspective and mandatory training for justice officials to deal with these cases. The goal is comprehensive redress that not only compensates for the damage but also seeks to reform structures to ensure that digital violence is not repeated."
Among the various behaviors subject to sanctions are:
"- Gender misinformation: Gender misinformation refers to the deliberate and coordinated dissemination of false or misleading content that, based on gender bias, stereotypes, sexism, misogyny, and patriarchal social and cultural norms, seeks to threaten, intimidate, and silence women. This practice constitutes a public problem that seriously affects freedom of expression, as well as the public and political participation of women, girls, and adolescents."
And Article 31 imposes “Content care with a Gender Perspective”:
"Internet intermediaries that carry out content curation activities must ensure that the criteria used to select, organize, and present information, data, or digital content do not perpetuate gender stereotypes or reinforce discriminatory biases that disproportionately affect women. Content curation shall incorporate safeguards to prevent recommendation, search, or prioritization systems from increasing exposure to content that constitutes gender-based digital violence against women, including misogynistic speech, gender misinformation, silencing practices, and harmful content in cases involving girls and adolescents. In order to ensure transparency and accountability in the curation process, intermediaries shall:
a. Provide and publish clear, accessible, and understandable information on the general criteria used in content care, including whether these are based on commercial interests, automated algorithms, or editorial decisions;
b. Allow users to access and configure their content display and personalization preferences, including options to limit

Impact of False Allegations
The Centre For Male Psychology has just run an excellent article on the enormous damage done by false allegations against men. Some quotes:
Between 38% and 60% of wrongfully accused men experience clinical levels of anxiety or panic attacks.
Rates of PTSD range from 42% to 50%.
Depression and suicidal ideation are common, with 46% in one study reporting significant depressive symptoms while 20–30% reported suicidal thoughts or attempts after their ordeal.
These symptoms were often persistent and did not remit even after exoneration; long-term adjustment difficulties are common.
The effect of these disruptions is cascading and impacting on multiple socioeconomic levels. Loss of productivity, increased burden of healthcare, shared trauma, even loss of life is seen in scenarios of the wrongfully accused.

Final Update: 4 Months After Teen Girls Accused Me of SA, Doxxed, Parents Have Been Contacted and There Are Other Victims
Hello everyone, you guys may know me as the person who was falsely accused of SA and child grooming by a group of random teenage girls who got over fifty plus content creators on Tiktok to spread these allegations against me. You also may know me as the guy who the girls admitted that they made it all up just to ruin my music career that was starting to take off as big bands were reposting my content and a big name musician was down to collaborate with me. For those of you that don't know, this wasn't just a random comment or two of someone accusing me of SA, this was many TikTok videos that garnered thousands of views each video, including a popular TikTok creator with a huge following who made a video about me too which only amplified the hate. It was so bad that my co-workers and family found out, with my brother no longer wanting to talk to me anymore. Here's the final update on that. Even though they admitted they made it up, they weren't happy about me continuing to talk about it online and decided to make new allegations.
Since the last time I've posted about it here , a lot has changed, and I mean a lot. During that time, the teen girls who originally started it all against me made a doxxing account on TikTok; posting addresses and phone numbers of mine to the public. Thankfully, only one of the addresses was my old address and the phone number was not mine. They did get the right town though. It did not stop there. One of my online familiars ended up also being doxxed by those same people; yes I saw the DMs and it was wild.
One of the teen girls made a new SA accusation against me after I already disproved the last one; however, this time they said that I SA'd them. Which is crazy because I had no clue where they lived.
During the last time I posted, someone ended up contacting me, telling me that they were also a victim of these girls months prior to me. Funny enough, I knew exactly who it was since the allegations against them went viral on Tiktok at one point, but I believed they were true in the beginning until I started questioning it (since it was all talk on Tiktok with no one posting evidence). That person reached out to me, showing screen shots of how the girls admitted in private DMs that they also made it up against them too and that the person they accused them of "grooming" had admitted that they never groomed them. Funny enough, I had a theory that these girls who falsely accused me had also accused this person months prior to me since the same girls went viral at the time for bringing down the person who contacted me.
After finding out that the girls who almost ruined my life had another victim that went viral on Tiktok prior to me, that was when I knew that my theory about them doing this to innocent people was correct. Me and the person they falsely accused months prior to me teamed up and found other people that claimed to be victims of these girls. Of course we asked for evidence of each victim so we could all be sure that our story has support. The known public victims of these girls that I am aware of total to about six, but people have privately messaged me that these girls have done it to others as well.
A few days ago, the parents of one of the teen girls who falsely accused me of SA was contacted regarding their daughter's behavior. Yes, evidence with context was sent to them, not only by me, but several other victims of her as well. Today, another one of the teens who falsely accused me and others of SA and child grooming are now having their school facility contacted in hopes that the information gets sent to their parents regarding their behavior. From what I'm aware of, the first girl whose parents was contacted has not been seen online since her parents found out about her behavior.

Why promoting “traditional masculinity” can actually undermine men’s rights
If we genuinely care about men’s rights, we should be cautious about promoting “traditional masculinity” as a solution. In practice, it often reinforces the very norms that make male suffering easier to ignore.
To be clear, I am not arguing against virtues like responsibility, courage, or competence. Those are valuable human traits. What I am criticizing is traditional masculinity as a set of gendered expectations—the idea that men are supposed to be stoic, self-sacrificing, emotionally low-maintenance, and expendable, while women are treated as needing priority protection.
This framework harms men in at least two important ways.
First, it narrows men’s freedom and encourages policing among men.
Men are not a monolith. We differ in temperament, ability, culture, and personal goals. Traditional masculinity elevates a specific model of manhood and implicitly devalues men who do not—or cannot—fit it. The predictable result is social sorting: men who conform receive status and validation, while men who do not are dismissed as weak, inferior, or failing. This does not empower men as a class; it restricts men’s choices and legitimizes intra-male discrimination.
Second, it reinforces paternalism that ultimately makes men disposable.
Traditional gender roles often frame women as inherently more precious or deserving of protection, with men cast as the default protectors. This is not equality; it is a trade. Men are granted “honor” in exchange for being expected to take greater risks, absorb more suffering, and demand less care. Historically, norms like “women and children first” explicitly prioritized female lives over male lives in crises. The Titanic is the most famous example: women’s survival rates were dramatically higher than men’s, and commonly reported as higher than children’s as well.
The deeper issue is the moral hierarchy embedded in this thinking. If women are treated as needing protection first, men are treated as more expendable by default. That attitude does not stay in history books—it influences how society responds to male victims, male homelessness, male workplace deaths, male suicide, and men in family and criminal courts. Male suffering becomes normalized, minimized, or treated as the price men are supposed to pay.
For men’s rights, a better path is not reinforcing narrow gender roles, but expanding moral concern and social legitimacy for men as full human beings.

The Casual Misandry of The Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory is one of my favourite TV shows. However, I have seen videos online talking about how it is subtly misogynistic. What about the flip-side -- that it can be subtly misandrist? The men in the show are all portrayed as losers, creeps, or weirdos who can't get a girlfriend. They're hardly "studs" or "toxic hyper-masculine males". That's what makes the show interesting, to me -- it feels relatable because these characters are all just your average Joes.
When are we going to see conversations about misandry in TV and pop culture, rather than just "misogyny" all the time?
(By the way, this is a devil's advocate post -- I don't think TBBB is misogynistic or misandrist, I just see it as a fun and entertaining show. I would just like to see more of another side to this conversation.)

Thoughts on appropriation of terms
I'm curious, what would happen if male victims of female sexual coercion appropriated the term "agressor?" For example, imagine a T-shirt that says something like :
"I ask forgiveness for having molested my adult female babysitter when I was seven and eight years old and my ex-wife by trying to defend my boundaries against her sexual coercion."
Or comments like "Of course I'm a rapist: what else do you call a man involved in sexual violence regardless of who the agressor or the victim is?"
This is just a brainstorm at present, but appropriation has proven effective in other movements such as gays appropriating the term queer for example.
