Estimates put the death toll in Gaza at around 67,000 - with 20,000 of those deaths being children. These are of course estimates, and as food, water and medical aid has been denied to the Palestinians the death toll could be much higher. It's also important to note that international observers have either been blocked from entering Gaza or actively targeted by the IDF when they managed to get in, making it impossible to know how many have really died.
Yet despite this horrific death toll and the fact that many Palestinians are now returning to where their homes once stood to find only rubble, the press and the media are focusing entirely on Israeli hostages.
It's incredible how the same group of people that pushed the mantra that 'no one life is worth more than another', are now so eager to let you know that a handful of Israeli hostages are worth more than tens of thousands of dead Palestinian children.
