Yeah, to people who already have power. You know who doesn't have power? Internet Nazbols and Third Worldists who larp as pro-white right-wingers on the internet.
You know "center right-wingers" are vulnerable because they're already being dogpiled by leftists. Unless your ridicule has the power to deplatform and debank them, they'll probably just view it as an affirmation that appeasing the left is the right choice -- if they even register it at all. Banks have to be forced to accept bad loan risks because refusing to allow blacks and hispanics with negative credit ratings to have $100k+ bank loans is racist until that inevitably crashes the economy at which point its no longer racist and is swiftly swept under the rug and forgotten about until it is once again racist a decade or two later after everyone forgets what happened the last time.

This becomes an issue the bigger you grow online. Once you've carved out a niche, the audience will demand you continue feeding them that niche. Deviating even slightly from it or evolving a particular stance on a sub-niche topic within that niche will provoke backlash.
You saw some of this with the Russia-Ukraine thing. Anyone taking the pro-Ukraine anti-imperialist stance was ostracized by the chronic contrarians who reflexively take up the opposite position of mainstream media. Then there's the diehards committed to rehabilitating mustache man as a central litmus test for their support. Deviate from that even a little and they come out with a vengeance to "excommunicate" you from their cult.
Some of these spergs think they "own" you, your views, and your platform, that they're basically "renting" your mind by being your viewer. "Don't say that or I'll stop watching you!" they screech. This is emotional blackmail to get you to conform to some shibboleth or sacred cow that's been erected in our ranks.
Really juvenile cultish stuff but it's real.
