For people having issues with turning off the AI, it's as simple as sending "/plugins@mattatabot", then making sure there is a red X next to ai - mattata will then no longer respond! #ai #faq

Okay so mattata previously relied on the update.message.from user object for plugins to work in channels, and before it would only respond in channels if the Sign Messages option was enabled in the channel settings. It appears since the last update to the bot API, there is never an update.message.from object (perhaps for privacy reasons?) in channel posts, just an author_signature field - I'm yet to work out whether they were supposed to do that or if they just made a mistake, since there's no mention of the removal of the update.message.from object from channel posts.

New feature! Prevent users from using specific keywords in your group by using the new command /filter <word(s)> You can specify as many words as you like but only 200 may be set up at one time. To remove a word (or more than 1 word) from the word filter, use /unfilter <word(s)>
