امکان برقراری ارتباط میلیاردها انسان در جهان از طریق تلفن های همراه و ایجاد دسترسی و انتقال دانش و اطلاعات از طریق آنها را اگر درکنار فناوری های نوظهور یا درحال گسترش مانند هوش مصنوعی، محاسبات ابری، تجزیه وتحلیل داده های بزرگ، روباتیک، اینترنت اشیا، چاپ سه بعدی، وسایل نقلیه بدون سرنشین، نانوتکنولوژی ، بیو تکنولوژی و ... قراردهیم، انقلاب صنعتی شگرفی در پیش روی بشر قراردارد.
