It gives Russia a staging area to the west of Denipr that allows them to advance into central Ukraine, potentially undermining any defence of Kiev if the city holds out, from the south, also it opens the way for Russia to advance into Odessa Oblast and form a land bridge with the Russian army group (which hasn't engaged in the war so far) based in Transnistria.

Militarily it's vital for the south of Ukraine and if the Ukrainian army, already over stretched and struggling to form stable lines can't plug this gap, Ukraine is facing a larger military crisis than the one it faces in the Donbas

Just on the Coach point, this account shared his footage, and here it is sharing intelligence and the location of Ukrainian military forces to the East of Kiev.

Telegram is being used by the military intelligence of both nations to source enemy locations and movements in the field.

So Coachs videos on the situation in Kiev and the state of the defence units in the city will almost certainly be, being viewed by Russian state/military

It appears the Russians aren't driving their column into Kherson as they did in previous days in other cities but conducting more methodical clearing and securing of the city.

This could be a significant change in Russian strategy and doctrine from advancing as far and as fast as possible to a more sustainable advance.

This could imply the Russians have conceded they have failed to secure the quick victory conditions they set for themselves.

Which is significant, because the T-90 is one of the worlds most capable tanks and the most advanced one Russia has committed to the battle.

I would really love to hear from the Russians the circumstances that are leading to crews to do this.

Usually in a war, if a crew abandons a vehicle, they would try a defence/watch of it if it is out of fuel till supply can catch up.

Or if that is not feasible, they would immobilise the vehicle to prevent its capture.

So why Russians are just completely abandoning perfectly function vehicles is very interesting to me
