Dearest MedSIN-Sudan Family,
I trust you are doing well, Safe and sound as I always wish you to be.
It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I write to you as the first Secretary General overseeing the newly established MedSIN-Sudan Certificates and Letters Framework. For the first time in our Organization’s history, we now have a structured and standardized process for issuing official certificates and letters of endorsement. Acknowledging that this initiative aims at ensuring recognition, credibility, and professionalism across all levels of our work.
That said, It’s my pleasure to open the Combined Call for MedSIN-Sudan Certificates and Letters Request for the Term 2024/25.
How to Request?
1) Thoroughly review the important notes and instructions attached to this email.
2) Thoroughly review the Final Version of MedSIN-Sudan Certificates and Letters framework [Here].
3) Submit your request for Certificates [Here] and/or for Letters [Here];
4) Then, send an email with the following Subject to MedSIN-Sudan Secretary General Cc MedSIN-Sudan President: “[IMP] Certificate/Letter Request”.
Important Notes
1) Certificates for MedSIN-Sudan General Assemblies from previous terms (starting from EMSA SNGA19 up to SepM23) will be issued based on the completion of both Pre- and Post-Evaluation Forms, as well as the availability of attendee lists. For SepM24, certificates will be issued solely based on the completed Pre-Evaluation Form. Please note that the total number of certificates is substantial, which may result in some delays in distribution. Nevertheless, as Secretary General, I am committed to ensuring that all certificates are distributed no later than the end of the current term.
2) For upcoming General Assemblies, please note that new eligibility criteria will be implemented for the issuance of General Assembly certificates and this includes the upcoming September Meeting 2035. Moreover, and for future terms, certificates will be issued strictly based on a thorough assessment of members who meet the established criteria.
3) Requested Letters and certificates shall take about 10-14 days to be issued. However, be aware that at any point, the Secretary General may approach the LMO President or MedSIN-Sudan Team of Officials for data verification if required.
The deadline for this call will be November 1st, 2025 at 23:59 GMT+2 (the end of my term as a Secretary General), that said, keep in mind that unless the new Secretary General announces a new call during the new term, no certificates or letters will be issued.

• The curriculum vitae, Motivation Letter and the Plan of Action MUST NOT exceed the page limit and MUST be written in Monserrate or Arial font, Size 11. Otherwise the application shall be deemed INVALID. Using more than ONE FONT in the same Application Form will INVALIDE the candidature.
• All applications MUST be submitted to the submission form and NOT via any other means. Otherwise the application shall be deemed INVALID.
• All applications MUST be submitted no later than November 21st; 2024 - 23:59 GMT +2, Applications passing the deadline shall be deemed INVALID.
• The Candidature form must include the LMO President or any other executive board member signature and the LMO stamp. If the respective executive board member is applying, Another executive board member must sign and stamp the candidature form. Otherwise the application shall be deemed INVALID.
• With regards to the candidature form, The name of the position must be written in full form and as the same as the available positions list, The available positions list is attached [Here]. Any applicant uses other than the name submitted to the available positions sheet shall be deemed INVALID.
• Applicants may only apply for ONE position. Applying for more than one position will lead to an immediate disqualification of the applicant.

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen MedSIN-Sudan and ensure that we work in alignment with global best practices, it’s with great pleasure that I announce the opening of the First Call for MedSIN-Sudan September General Assembly 2025 Policy Documents Small Working Groups for the first time ever! This is a significant milestone in our NMO journey toward enhancing advocacy efforts and national engagement within the health issues.
A MedSIN-Sudan Policy Document describes the position of MedSIN-Sudan on a global or national health issue that the association wants to take a stance on, which is in line with MedSIN-Sudan’s vision and mission and is bound by its Constitution and Bylaws. It is to be used by any authorized representative of MedSIN-Sudan within the external and internal activities of MedSIN-Sudan.

الجمعيات والروابط الطلابية هي العمود الفقري للجمعية السودانية لروابط طلاب الطب، وتقديم طلب العضوية يمثل خطوة أساسية للانضمام إلى الجمعية.
وفقًا لدستورنا ولوائحنا، فإن الموعد النهائي لتقديم طلب نيل وترفيع العضوية هو 1 فبراير.
لتيسير هذه العملية، ننظم ندوة اسفيرية بعنوان: “الطريق إلى الجمعية السودانية لروابط طلاب الطب: كيف تتقن تقديم طلب العضوية”، والتي ستُعقد بتاريخ 20 يناير عبر منصة Google Meet.
أهم محاور الندوة:
• كيفية التقدم للحصول على عضوية مرشح.
• كيفية الترقية إلى العضوية الكاملة.
• الإجابة على الأسئلة الشائعة.
تهدف الندوة إلى تزويد أعضاء الجمعية والمنظمات الغير منضوية بالمعرفة والاستعداد اللازمين، مما يسهم في تعزيز أسرة الجمعية السودانية لروابط طلاب الطب.

[Webinar][Road to the 13th Youth PreWHA & 78th WHA Delegation]
Dear MedSIN-Sudan Family,

The World Health Assembly (WHA) serves as the primary decision-making body of the World Health Organization (WHO). It convenes annually in May in Geneva, bringing together all WHO Member States, along with non-state actors and other key global health stakeholders. The WHA's main responsibilities include setting WHO's policies, appointing the Director-General, overseeing financial policies, and reviewing and approving the proposed program budget.
For the past 12 years IFMSA has been organizing a Youth PreWHA on the days prior to the WHA. The Youth PreWHA aims to empower and strengthen the advocacy skills and leadership of future health professionals as well as to increase the participants’ knowledge about global health themes that are central to the working of the World Health Organization and 78th World Health Assembly.
At each year huge number of MedSIN-Sudan members applying for both PreWHA & WHA, for this year as we want to ensure high quality applications from our members we would like to announce our special webinar:

What applicants need to do:
• Applicants must read this email thoroughly and familiarize themselves with the application process.
• Applicants must review the NTs/PCs/PPRC booklet and familiarize themselves with the job description and selection criteria for their desired position.
• Applicants must download and fill out the provided Application Form and submit it in PDF format.
• Applicants must submit a correctly filled out candidature form signed and stamped by the LMO president in PDF format. If the LMO President is an applicant, then another Executive Board member from the LMO must sign the document instead.
• Applicants must submit a detailed plan of action (not exceeding 3 pages) for their desired position in a PDF format.
• Applicants for EB/SCs/SDs Publication Assistant positions must submit a sample of their work.
• Applicants must submit the aforementioned documents and carefully answer all the questions within the Submission form no later than November 21st; 2024 - 23:59 GMT +2.
• Applicants may only apply for ONE position. Applying for more than one position will lead to your immediate disqualification.
• Applicants must free themselves for the interviews; which are to be conducted fully online in the period from 23rd-24th of November; 2024.
