XMPP seems way better than session, also integrates phone bridge with a $5/mo line there to help stay connected (includes email bridge as well), also has telegram bridge bots so that would be a great way to begin migrating away from this platform IMHO.

I'm pretty sure that most people who are planning to be at MidFest are already there, but if anyone needs a ride from Tulsa there tomorrow (10/3), I'll be headed out in the early afternoon.

I'll also be leaving the campground on Tuesday 10/7 to Dallas/Grapevine, if anyone would like to catch a ride. All I'd ask for is help with gas or a reasonable trade.

However I don't think XMPP is a very secure protocol. It's quite open actually. However, I just learned Session is tied to Etherium. I was under the impression it ran on the Loki blockchain, but perhaps if so that has now changed.

I'm not happy about seeing Session's assiciation to Etherium.
