Yes, the Independent newspaper literally has interns trawling though archived official documents searching for the word, 'negro' to denounce and shame us all with. 'Racism' is the most precious of commodities to the activist anti-White left. It is so greatly prized that they will send out search-parties into every last remote corner of our politics and culture to excavate it and return it to the (hysterical) public gaze. But beware! This word is so toxic and destructive, it may never be spoken out loud. Even thinking it as a whole word might turn you into a racist gammon!

They take these quotations as literal scripture, and compete with one another in quotation, but are unable to creatively apply the wisdom.

Dominic Cummings has just joined the ongoing debate in Britain about whether there needs to be an entirely new party in British politics. His diagnosis of what is wrong with the country is as follows -and is basically one I agree with. SW1 simply no longer works. Government is broken because the people running government are no longer up to it. The prime minister spends far too much time listening to “the most insider of Insider advice”. The Number 10 operation cannot control the levels of power. There is collective paralysis in Whitehall. The two big parties have failed for decades. But nobody should be letting off of the gas pedal now. Charlie owes an apology to everyone who was saying this years ago, and he needs to go even further.
Pro-White politics is inevitable in America. Pro-nativist politics are inevitable in European countries. Everyone who tried to deny this and now embraces it must acknowledge that they were wrong.
Of course, Britain isn't in the EU, but I expect our government will rope us into this scheme anyway, just like it refuses to take us out of the ECHR.

Elon Musk, in his efforts to pretzel Twitter into a profitable enterprise, is slowly alienating even some his ardent shills and defenders.
The things people like about this website are basically incompatible with the revenue model he envisions.
Ad monetization inevitably leads to controlled discourse. He will not be able to avoid this, and it will ruin the site the way it ruined sites like YouTube and Twitch.
Elon's big goofy scheme to get rid of the block button is obviously just an attempt to increase and cross-pollinate engagement between different filter bubbles on the site.
It will backfire spectacularly, making the site unusable for many large accounts, and will ultimately produce the opposite effect.
If he would just keep adding good features to X Premium and avoiding anything that leads to restriction of speech, he would do fine. Make the site a real competitor to YouTube, Substack, Twitch, etc by adding 1:1 functionality and avoiding the pitfalls of those platforms.
But Musk is too prideful.

Another interesting film comparison by @Charlemagne3. I haven't seen the AOP13 remake, but the original is a pretty good film, a prototype of "the John Carpenter style" that would evolve into classics like Escape from New York.
The original AOP13 is brutal, but you never doubt that the makers are aware of justice, understand it and believe in it. The same cannot be said for many post-2000 films, and it sounds like the remake is one of those.

My grandfather bought our family cottage in 1970. The refrigerator which he brought there was already around 10 years old at that point. It lasted until 2016. Our family got over 46 years of use out of that fridge. When we finally needed to replace it, after taking it apart, my dad was impressed by how well it had been designed.
These days, the average fridge lasts 10-15 years. Not because they can't design a better fridge, but because the company wouldn't make as much money if you only needed to buy one fridge in your lifetime. So, they design them to fail after a decade or so.
Maybe in the 2030s, you'll need to pay a monthly subscription fee to use your fridge. We have passed the era when technology was designed to make our lives better. Now it is designed to enslave us to it.
