How Equality Corrupts
The state machine has never liked the plebs gathering informally anywhere, outside the oversight of their powers. But for centuries, pubs enjoyed this status - they were a sanctuary for any who cared to walk over their thresholds and partake of refreshment. That's why Blair's smoking ban was a much more profound shift in the relationship between state and citizen than most people appreciate. It placed a policeman in every public house and made them places where the state's desire to monitor and modify behaviour was realised. In other words, they became agents of the state itself. Subsequent demographic changes, mountains of regulations and economic pressures (COVID especially) continue to see off dozens of pubs every week.
As a youth, I remember pubs that were terrifying; filled with miners, steelworkers and the like, whose sense of dominion over their surroundings was total. Certain pubs definitely were the barrack-houses of virtual armies and woe-betide anyone who challenged their dominance therein.
Pubs are generally neutered and corporate spaces now, but they still represent a haven for the Englishman, where he can quietly revel in his cosy heritage. But it seems that we are to be allowed no place of sanctuary...

The weird thing is they'll celebrate this black girl being aware of and protecting her racial heritage, but also advise her to race-mix and celebrate if she does. This is a blatant contradiction.

Lots of people have chainsaws, if you live in an urban area it might be a bit alien, but if you are rural/semi rural and have a wood burner very common to have a chainsaw.
Don’t know any farmers that don’t have chainsaws, and know of a number if16 year olds who do fencing work who do have chainsaws.
It’s not at all surprise a 16 year old in a rural location got his hands on one and had some degree of proficiency with it

Were you to suggest to Hislop and Merton that they in any way enabled Pakistani grooming of white children, they would react with indignation and bafflement. Then they would go on the attack. Organisation "Artgemeinschaft" outlawed in Germany.
Only a few days after the Hammerskins Deutschland was outlawed, the German Ministry of Interior has set their sights on the next group. This time Artgemeinschaft, a religious folkish group, was banned. According to the official reports, 26 homes were raided.
The Ministry outlined the ban against the group and its offshoots, describing it as a "cult-like, deeply racist and antisemitic association" that sought to indoctrinate children with far-right thinking.
Artgemeinschaft has been active since 1951, in an attempt to create a community for those that remain loyal to their Germanic roots.

The iconic tree at Sycamore Gap along Hadrian's Wall is deliberately, skillfully felled.
We know. They know we know. We know they know we know.
^^^So I should offer the disclaimer that I don't think this would be "impossible" for a single experienced man to do.
What I doubt is that a 16-year-old kid (this limits his experience) could do this in the middle of the night by himself. Moreover, kids that age do work in that field often enough, but the thing is those kids usually are not the types who'd go out and vandalize national icons. Also, if the kid didn't have a background in felling trees, and just watched a few tutorials on YouTube or something, then where did he get the equipment?
Perhaps I am not properly gaging the size of the tree. The photos do make it difficult for me, since I've never seen the tree in person. But even so, considering various factors and elements of this story, while not entirely impossible, I doubt the official version as it's been presented.
This all fits too neatly into a repeated pattern we've all seen of iconoclasm. National icons get destroyed. The officials lament the attack on our identities, but ultimately, the story becomes just another part of our continued humiliation and demoralization. These things always seem to happen at fairly convenient times and play into larger social narratives.
^^^ I don't want to larp as a lumberjack, but I did grow up in a wooded area, and I used chainsaws to cut down some trees.
I have never done such work for a living, so perhaps I am wrong, but in my opinion, cutting this tree down would've required the strategic placements of ropes and wedges to offset the tree's weight so it didn't impede the saw.
The official story is that a 16-year-old kid drove out there and did this in the middle of the night by himself. This wouldn't be an easy task for two people in the day, let alone a kid in the night.

The AfD is within one point of being tied for the largest party in Germany in the most recent national poll.

And a “world-novice” is what the equalitarian always remains. Being a world-novice might be innocence in a child, but it is corruption in the adult, because it can only remain if he has ignored some of the most crucial lessons of life, and has thereby set himself apart from reality, even in stalwart opposition to it.
