Ryan Wesley Routh, who was recently implicated in an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, appeared in a propaganda video for the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.
In 2023, Routh spoke to The New York Times about his involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, where he claimed to be fighting against Russian forces and recruiting Afghan soldiers to join the effort.
The Azov Brigade has since denied any affiliation with Routh.

Israel claims to have stopped an assassination by Hezbollah
According to Israeli Shin Bet, Hezbollah attempted to kill a former security official by employing explosives that were supposed to be remotely detonated from Lebanon.
On September 16–18, 1982, the Shatila Palestinian refugee camp and the Sabra neighbourhood of southern Beirut were the sites of a three-day massacre conducted by Israelis and Phalangist allies.
Thousands of civilians in Lebanon and Palestinian refugees lost their lives as a result of the crime.
"We have prepared ourselves to fight a long battle of attrition that will break the enemy's political will... Our concerted efforts with you [Yemen], our brothers in the valiant resistance in Lebanon, and the Islamic resistance in Iraq, will break this enemy and defeat it."
Yahya Sinwar, the head of Hamas' Politburo, penned a letter to Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen's Ansarallah.
In his message, Sinwar conveyed his respect for the Yemeni people, commending their longstanding support for Palestine. He emphasised that the resistance in Gaza has "exhausted the enemy" and assured that it remains strong, despite Israeli claims about them, which are "mere lies."

BBC presenter Huw Edwards does not receive a custodial sentence for indecent images of children
Former BBC presenter Huw Edwards has not received a custodial sentence for accessing indecent images of children as young as seven. Edwards avoided prison after being charged with three offences involving 41 indecent images of children sent to him by a convicted paedophile.
The judge, in explaining the decision, highlighted that Edwards would face significant risks in custody, including potential attacks from other inmates and the possibility of self-harm, making him "particularly vulnerable" if imprisoned.

Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has declared its readiness to send hundreds of thousands of trained fighters to support Lebanon's resistance forces if Israel escalates its aggression.
In an interview with the Palestinian Shehab news agency on Monday, Nasr El-Din Amer, Vice President of Ansarullah’s Media Authority, stressed that their backing for Lebanon would be similar to the support for the Palestinian Resistance.

The identities of 986 healthcare workers killed by Israel in Gaza are released
Israel has killed 1,151 Palestinian healthcare workers and professionals during its ongoing war against Gaza. The names and details of 986 of those killed have now been released by the Gaza Health Ministry, while the full details of the remaining 165 are still being gathered and verified. At least 165 of those killed were doctors, while 260 nurses, 300 management and support personnel, 184 health associate professionals, 76 pharmacists and 12 other health workers were all killed by Israeli forces. Israel has systematically targeted Gaza’s hospitals and healthcare system since the beginning of the war.

Venezuela arrests three US citizens, two Spaniards, and a Czech on the charge of planning to assassinate President Maduro
Venezuelan authorities arrested six foreign nationals on Saturday, accusing them of involvement in a plot to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro and key members of his administration. The announcement was made by Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello during a television broadcast.
Cabello further asserted that the CIA was "leading the operation” and revealed that a large inventory of rifles, originating from the United States, had been confiscated.
While the U.S. has denied any CIA involvement, one of the arrested individuals was identified as a U.S. Navy serviceman.

Liberal Democrats conference passes motion to immediately suspend arms sales to Israel
At their autumn conference in Brighton over the weekend, Liberal Democrats members voted to approve a motion urging the UK to halt all arms exports to the Israeli entity with immediate effect.
