A man named Gary Lansky slit the throat of a 7-year-old Yemeni-American girl in Detroit, sparking calls to investigate whether it was a hate crime
The incident occurred at a park when the 73-year-old man approached the little girl and proceeded to use a knife to slash her throat. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has urged the Detroit Police Department to investigate whether this “senseless act of violence" was racially, politically or religiously motivated and could have constituted a hate crime.
A new MintPress News investigation reveals that a number of the most influential journalists in the United States were previously operatives of Israeli spying agency, Unit 8200.
Founded in 1952, Unit 8200 is the Israeli military’s largest and most controversial division. Responsible for clandestine operations, spying, surveillance and cyberwarfare, the group has been at the forefront of the world’s attention since October 7, 2023. It is widely identified as the organization behind the infamous pager attack on Lebanon, which left at least nine dead and around 3,000 people injured.

Imran Khan is held in solitary confinement in Pakistan
Jemima Goldsmith, former wife of Imran Khan, has raised concerns about the isolation of the ex-prime minister of Pakistan, stating, "He is now completely isolated, in solitary confinement, literally in the dark, with no contact with the outside world."
Jemima took to social media to express her concern that her sons, Sulaiman and Kasim, have not been able to reach their father since early September. She further stated that Imran Khan is being denied basic rights, including access to family visits and legal representation.
Imran Khan has been in jail since August 2023, following a successful US-backed coup.

An Israeli airstrike on an inhabited building, which was being rented by an already displaced family, in the town of Aitoun, caused devastation and is speculated was carried out in order discourage people renting to those who were forced to flee their homes.
UK announces new sanctions on Iran for striking Israel
Yesterday, the UK announced new sanctions on several Iranian individuals and organisations in response to Iran's retaliatory missile strike on the Zionist entity, building upon the hundreds of existing sanctions already in place against the country.
The added sanctions target prominent figures in Iran's military, including Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of the army, along with organisations like the Farzanegan Propulsion Systems Design Bureau and the Iranian Space Agency.

No charges were brought against 5 Palestine Action members who shut down an Israeli weapons factory
The Actionists had worked to shut down Israel’s largest weapons company, Elbit Systems, targeting its drone production factory in Shenstone, Staffordshire. Palestine Action continues to push Elbit Systems to completely abandon operations in the United Kingdom.
Hezbollah carried out two successful operations in northern Israel. One targeted an area south of Haifa, while the other struck the Golani military base north of Haifa.
In the latter attack, a Hezbollah drone launched from Lebanon hit a soldiers’ mess hall, killing and critically injuring 70 Israeli soldiers.
