Palestinian footballer Hamada Saleh of Al-Ahly Gaza, has put his boots up for sale in an effort to feed his starving family. “Sadly, this is all that remains of my football memories… for sale,” the 28-year-old wrote on Facebook.
According to UNRWA, more than one million children in Gaza are going hungry, and more than 1,000 people have been killed by Israeli forces while attempting to access food aid.
