Apple employees and shareholders have issued an open letter urging the company to stop matching employee donations to organisations connected to the Israeli military's actions in Gaza and illegal settlements in the West Bank. The letter calls for an immediate investigation and the cessation of matching donations to organisations that support illegal settlements and the IDF.
Apple, like many large corporations, offers donation matching through a platform called Benevity. Eligible organisations include Friends of the IDF, which supports Israeli soldiers, and several groups involved in West Bank settlements, such as HaYovel, One Israel Fund, the Jewish National Fund, and IsraelGives.

Bezalel Smotrich, a West Bank settler and Israeli Finance Minister, responded to a request from the family of political prisoner Walid Daqqa, that his body be released, by advocating a biblical form of ritual humiliation; publicly dragging the dead bodies of enemies through the streets. Daqqa died in Israeli military detention in April, after accusations of medical neglect, he was the longest serving Palestinian political prisoner.

The Department for Business and Trade, responding to "significant parliamentary and public interest" and "exceptional circumstances.", revealed that between October 7 and May 31, Rishi Sunak's government authorised 42 permits for military exports to Israel.
It went further to reveal that 66 more licences were granted for products categorised as "non-military." These could be utilised by Israeli forces and include "telecommunications equipment, chemical manufacturing equipment, and imaging cameras."
