Lyft, a popular transportation network company that offers ride-hailing services in the US, fired one of their drivers last weekend for displaying a "US Jews Say Ceasefire" banner in his backseat. The sign cost him his job because a client was "uncomfortable."

Lebanon to sue The Telegraph
Lebanon has announced plans to sue the British daily newspaper, The Telegraph, over an article alleging that weapons are being stored in Beirut airport for Hezbollah.
Public Works and Transport Minister Ali Hamieh condemned the article, stating that it "seeks to tarnish the reputation of Beirut International Airport." He urged ambassadors and media outlets to visit the airport to see for themselves that the allegations made by The Telegraph are unfounded.
The Telegraph has not yet issued a response.

Cyprus denies aiding Israel against Lebanon
Deputy Parliament Speaker Elias Bou Saab met with Cypriot Ambassador to Lebanon Maria Hadjitheodosiou. During the meeting, the ambassador stressed that Cyprus will not allow its territory to be used for aggression against any country, particularly Lebanon.
This statement comes after Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah recently warned Cyprus that they are prepared to engage in a conflict "with no rules and no red lines" if the country aligns with Israel in its war against Lebanon.

An Israeli air strike killed 11 members of the head of Hamas' Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh's family, in northern Gaza's Shati refugee camp.
According to Mahmud Basal, a spokesman for the civil defence agency, the strike led to the killing of 11 members of his family, including Zahr Haniyeh, the sister of Ismail. Basal also stated that a number of bodies may still be under rubble due to a lack of necessary equipment for extraction.

The charge usually carries a 62 month jail sentence, yet it was agreed that his time spent in Belmarsh maximum security prison would be considered time served.
