Israel may have killed up to 8% of the population in Gaza
A Lancet study indicates that the Gaza death toll may be much higher than previously anticipated, meaning that close to 8% of the territory’s population have been killed.
The shocking study looked at the indirect deaths during recent conflict, noting that this toll often ranges “from three to 15 times the number of direct deaths”. Using the most conservative estimate, it is therefore concluded plausible that the true death toll in Gaza could be closer to 186,000 than the much lower accounted for statistics released by the Gaza Health Ministry.
The leader of Yemen’s Ansarallah , Abdul Malik al-Houthi, warned Saudi Arabia not to take “aggressive steps” against Sanaa
The warning was issued from Yemen to the leadership of Saudi Arabia, making it clear that collusion with the United States and Israel in an attempt to inflict a blow on their Arab neighbour would be severely punished. The Ansarallah leader also made it clear that such a war would not effect operations in support of Gaza and that the people of Yemen “prioritize the Palestinian cause over their own.”

Recent cultural events in Germany have faced cancellations over pro-Palestinian stances, raising concerns about censorship.

Israel’s war on Gaza has directly impacted every hospital in the besieged territory
There are no functional hospitals left in Gaza, with many of them partially or fully destroyed by Israeli Airstrikes or ground forces. Only a handful of medical facilities operate at a partial capacity, but are subjected to routine blackouts and do not possess the medical staff necessary to provide much needed services.
Zayn al-Abidin Muhammad Husayn Abu Zubaydah is a Palestinian man who was detained in 2002 by US agents without any charge or trial. Before arriving in Guatanamo in 2006, Abu Zubaydah was transported to different countries, including Thailand, Poland, Afghanistan, Morocco, and then later Cuba.
Abu Zubaydah claims that before arriving in Guantanamo, Cuba, he was subjected to extreme sleep deprivation, confinement inside boxes, beatings, death threats, starvation, denial of medical care, and no access to sanitation.
The CIA believed Abu Zubaydah was deeply entrenched in the leadership of Al Qaeda and had helped plan the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. However, US intelligence soon concluded that he was never a formal member of Al Qaeda, and only last year, the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, acting on behalf of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, immediately release Abu Zubaydah.

Israel is going for largest West Bank land grab in three decades
Peace Now, an Israeli settlement watchdog, has reported that 2024 represents the "largest land grab in over three decades," with approximately 2,370 hectares of land seized in the occupied West Bank.
On Wednesday, Peace Now announced that Israeli authorities had designated 3,138 acres of land in the Jordan Valley as “state land,” which will facilitate the development of numerous settlements. This declaration, which was approved last month but only made public on Wednesday, is the most extensive since the 1993 Oslo Accords.

The head of Israel’s Shin Bet says that at least 21,000 Palestinians are being held captive across Israeli prisons that have a maximum capacity for 14,500 inmates
In what Ronen Bar, the head of Israel’s Internal Security service, says is a “time bomb”, the number of Palestinians held by the Israeli authorities has reached unexpected heights.
According to Bar, in a letter of appeal written to Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, the incarceration crisis constitutes a real strategic crisis." He also expressed concern that Israelis currently living abroad who are implicated may face legal challenges for the conditions under which Palestinians are held.
Recent revelations about the Sde Tieman detention facility, dubbed “worse than Abu Ghraib” where Palestinian inmates are raped to death, has added to these fears.
A humanitarian crisis is intensifying in northern Gaza as vast heaps of waste create awful living conditions for local Palestinians amidst a crushing Israeli siege.
According to the UN and humanitarian agencies working on sanitation, more than 330,400 tonnes of solid garbage are believed to have accumulated in the Palestinian territories during the last eight months.
