The U.K. government is said to be ready to withdraw an objection to the International Criminal Court's (ICC) issuance of arrest warrants against Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, a decision previously made under the government of Rishi Sunak. Thousands of demonstrators packed Union Station in Washington D.C. to protest Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit and address to Congress. Some of the demonstrators pulled down three American flags and replaced them with the flag of Palestine in a message of defiance of the man who is commanding what the World Court has ruled to be a plausible genocide in Gaza, fuelled with tens of billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars.

The streets of Washington, DC, have been fenced up in preparation for mass protests against Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress.
In what activists have called “fort Netanyahu,” accusing their government of militarising the streets for a foreign leader, the U.S. police response to mass demonstrations against Israel’s genocide in Gaza is expected to be violent. "What kind of person is it that you need this much protection for? It's a war criminal!" said Codepink co-founder Jodie Evans.

Germany bans the Islamic Centre of Hamburg over alleged support for Hezbollah
The German authorities crack down on Muslim groups they accuse of having ties to Hezbollah. German police have so far raided over 50 properties and issued bans on the Islamic Centre of Hamburg (IZH), in addition to five other suborganizations, accusing them of being supportive of Hezbollah due to their connections to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Nancy Faeser, the Interior Minister of Germany, claimed the group and its “sub-organisations” support the Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah and are spreading "aggressive antisemitism.”
Israeli occupation forces readiness for war with Hezbollah dwindles
According to Maariv, Israeli occupation forces, who depend significantly on reservists, are increasingly losing their ability to conduct a full-scale war against Hezbollah and Lebanon. This extreme decline in readiness is attributed to the resistance in Gaza, who have fought Israeli occupation forces day in and day out for nearly 300 days.
According to the report, there is "growing exhaustion" among the numerous reserve battalions deployed in both Gaza and the northern regions fighting against the Lebanese resistance. Illegal settlers in the northern parts of the occupied Palestinian territories have evacuated in their hundreds of thousands due to constant operations carried out by Hezbollah in support of Gaza.
The Iraqi government is reportedly demanding that the U.S. withdraw from their country completely, following nine months of regional conflagration.
Iraq wants all troops from the US-led military coalition to begin withdrawing in September and to formally end the coalition’s work by September 2025, according to Iraqi sources who spoke with Reuters. If signed into law and formally requested, this could mean that the American justification for their deployment of forces, which states they are helping to fight ISIS, will no longer be a legal basis for their presence on Iraqi soil.
