Prime Minister of Bangladesh resigns and flees
Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and fled the country, according to Reuters.
Her resignation followed a dramatic escalation in unrest within the country, with thousands of protesters storming her official residence. Clashes between police and protesters on Sunday led to the deaths of at least 93 individuals, including 14 police officers, and leaving over a thousand others injured.
These nationwide protests, demanding Hasina's resignation, have become among the most lethal since the unrest began earlier in the summer.
Yemen displays a recently downed US Reaper Drone
The Yemeni Armed Forces have published footage showing an American MQ-9 Reaper Drone being destroyed with a locally made surface-to-air missile while it was conducting hostile operations in Saada’s airspace.
Valued at $30 million, this is the seventh drone of its kind that Yemeni forces have downed since October 7.
Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully shot down another US Reaper Drone.
The drone was struck by a surface-to-air missile while conducting hostile operations in the airspace of the Saada Governorate. This marks the seventh MQ-9 Reaper drone that the Yemeni resistance has shot down to date.
The MQ-9 Reaper is estimated to cost around $30 million.
