Israel killed at least 5 children in their Airstrike against a residential building in Beirut, while 5 others remain injured or missing
The attack on Dahiyeh, a southern suburb of Lebanon’s capital city Beirut, has so far killed 12 civilians and injured 66 others, 9 of whom are in critical condition. Israel claims that it killed the entire leadership of Hezbollah’s elite Redwan special forces group in an underground department of the building, a claim which is yet to be proven. As the building attacked was a populated residential building, the strike inflicted a civilian massacre and is the third major attack of its kind this week. Hezbollah has repeatedly refrained from responding to Israel’s attacks of these kinds with equal force, however these attacks have now caused serious concerns that war is unavoidable.

The airstrike against the southern suburb of Beirut, Dahiyeh, comes as a new step escalation against Lebanon by the Israeli military. It is anticipated that Israel’s continued attacks throughout Lebanese territory will spark a full-scale war with Hezbollah.

Ryan Wesley Routh, who was recently implicated in an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, appeared in a propaganda video for the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.
In 2023, Routh spoke to The New York Times about his involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, where he claimed to be fighting against Russian forces and recruiting Afghan soldiers to join the effort.
The Azov Brigade has since denied any affiliation with Routh.

This is the latest step taken by the occupying regime to try and prevent Al-Jazeera journalists from doing their jobs, following a general ban on their reporting and the murder of countless journalists belonging to the agency.

Israeli businessman Moti Maman was indicted on Thursday for allegedly being recruited by Iranian intelligence. According to the indictment, Maman was covertly smuggled into Iran on two occasions, where he met with Iranian intelligence.

The identities of 986 healthcare workers killed by Israel in Gaza are released
Israel has killed 1,151 Palestinian healthcare workers and professionals during its ongoing war against Gaza. The names and details of 986 of those killed have now been released by the Gaza Health Ministry, while the full details of the remaining 165 are still being gathered and verified. At least 165 of those killed were doctors, while 260 nurses, 300 management and support personnel, 184 health associate professionals, 76 pharmacists and 12 other health workers were all killed by Israeli forces. Israel has systematically targeted Gaza’s hospitals and healthcare system since the beginning of the war.
