While the number of Israeli dead is projected to be much higher according to the estimates provided by Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah, Israel’s admission of a number of these casualties has inflicted a psychological blow on Israelis. In one incident, four Hezbollah fighters killed 6 Golani Brigade soldiers, in Southern Lebanon, ambushing them inside a captured home and finishing them from zero-distance, leading to a four-hour clash which the Hezbollah fighters escaped from.
