Iraq's resistance groups have recently praised the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon, crediting its success to the resilience and determination of Hezbollah fighters.
According to reports, the group's recently convened and decided to escalate their operations. As part of this strategy, they plan to continue launching drone and missile strikes against Israel in the coming phase, regardless of the ongoing ceasefire in Lebanon.

A disabled mother of three from Salisbury, Fiona Rayan, was arrested by UK police after posting a TikTok video suggesting people celebrate Christmas with a Palestinian theme.
Among other videos, it appears that the arrest of the 40-year-old came after a TikTok post that encouraged viewers to incorporate aspects of Palestinian culture and history into their holiday traditions, including the idea of highlighting Jesus as a Palestinian and supporting Palestinian businesses through gifts and donations.
The CPS described her "antisemitic views" as far exceeding the "boundary between freedom of expression and hate speech." Rayan was convicted of four offences under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003, relating to the improper use of public electronic communications.
She was sentenced to 20 weeks' imprisonment, suspended for 18 months.

Ben Gvir calls a ceasefire with Lebanon a "historic mistake"
Itamar Ben Gvir has vowed to reject the proposed ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, calling it "a historic mistake."
The National Security Minister took to X and criticised the deal, arguing that it is not truly a ceasefire but rather a "reversion" to the failed "quiet for quiet" approach and asserting that Israel would eventually be "forced to return to Lebanon."

At a conference hosted by the Yesha Council yesterday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich proposed that Israelis could "occupy Gaza and thin the population by half within two years."
Smotrich argued that this could be done at a relatively low cost, but even if the price were higher, Israel should be willing to pay it, calling this strategy the "only way forward."
Smotrich emphasised that this strategy, if successful in Gaza, could later be applied to the West Bank.
