Amnesty International accuses Israel of genocide in Gaza
Amnesty International’s latest report, spanning 296 pages, outlines the systematic campaign by Israel to target Palestinians in Gaza.
The report concluded that Israel committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, citing deliberate military actions that include launching deadly attacks, the destruction of critical infrastructure, forcible displacement, and the blocking of essential humanitarian supplies like food and medicine.
This marks the first time Amnesty International has declared that the legal threshold for genocide has been met during an ongoing war.

Resistance groups based throughout Jenin recently confronted and stole two vehicles belonging to the Israeli-backed Palestinian Authority. The banners of Saraya Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, and Al-Qassam Brigades were laid on the stolen vehicles.
In response, the Palestinian Authority stormed the city of Jenin and raided the hospital to then station snipers on the rooftop of the medical compound. Reports are also emerging that they have conducted multiple arrests of Palestinians in the area.

Mohammad Walid Hussein Ali was arrested by the Israeli army and was transported to military prison, where he was subjected to interrogation and only a week later would be admitted to Rambam Hospital, where he was declared dead. As he had no previous chronic illnesses and had been previously imprisoned, his family immediately knew that there had been foul play. Although all the details have been hidden by Israel, it has been concluded that Israeli forces murdered Ali.
CEO of United Healthcare assassinated in New York
Brian Thompson, CEO of United Healthcare, was shot outside the Hilton Hotel on Sixth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, just before the start of the company’s annual investor conference.
The attack took place around 6:45 a.m. local time, when Thompson was confronted by the gunman, who appeared to have been waiting in hiding. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Thompson was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to a nearby hospital.
Local authorities are continuing their search for the attacker, who has not yet been apprehended.
Israel warns soldiers of legal risks travelling the world
Israelis warn that the arrest warrants for Israeli officials, including Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, could set a precedent for international arrest warrants against military officers and reserve soldiers involved in the Gaza genocide.
Several Israeli soldiers have already been forced to cut short their trips and leave countries due to the risk of legal proceedings. So far, approximately 30 cases have been reported where criminal charges have been brought against Israelis.
At least eight soldiers—some of whom had visited Cyprus, Slovenia, and the Netherlands—were forced to leave immediately to avoid potential arrest.
In response to these developments, Israel has instituted a new "risk assessment" procedure for soldiers intending to travel abroad.
Israel wants a military base in Somaliland from which to attack Yemen
With support from the UAE, Israel is working to secure a military base in Somaliland, a move that would come in exchange for recognising Somaliland's independence as well as future financial investments.
The base would be strategically located on the Gulf of Aden, close to the Bab Al-Mandab Strait—one of the busiest maritime routes globally. Israel sees this location as crucial for allowing it to project power in the region, particularly in countering the Yemeni resistance.
Sources suggest that the UAE is acting as a mediator and has pledged to finance the base's establishment.
The UK government will review the exports of F-35 to Israel.
Following legal action from the Global Legal Action Network and Al-Haq, the UK government has agreed to revisit its approval of F-35 component exports to global pools that are used by Israel.
The UN General Assembly passes another resolution calling on Israel to withdraw from Syria’s Golan Heights
Israel began illegally occupying the Syrian Golan Heights region in 1967, before it illegally annexed the territory in 1981. The International Community has rejected Israeli status in the region and repeatedly passed resolutions urging Israeli forces to withdraw back to the pre-June 1967 lines, to which the Israelis have refused to respond.
