Israeli forces have now occupied the entire Golan Heights, reaching as far as 20km away from Damascus city, as the new Syrian government is yet to even release a statement acknowledging this. Meanwhile, the majority of Arabic speaking broadcast media, is refusing to cover this as a major story.

As the Syrian government fell into the hands of the opposition forces, Israel quickly weaponised the situation to their advantage, launching hundreds of airstrikes and stealing Syrian territory. Israel has now occupied more land in southern Syria, breaking its 1974 agreement, and even reached the outskirts of Damascus.

Bezalel Smotrich has declared that he seeks to occupy Gaza and crush Hamas completely, stating that this is the way to return Israel’s captives. This comes despite the evidence that continuing the war actually endangers the lives of the captives.
Hamas becomes the first Palestinian party to congratulate Syria on “achieving their aspirations for freedom and justice.”
The Palestinian group expressed hope for a future partnership with the new Syrian transitional government and urged all elements of Syria’s society to be able to put past grievances behind in order to build a new future for the nation.
While Israel invaded Syria, a high-ranking official of the new regime states that the only enemy is Iran
Ayman Al-Asimi, a member of the Syrian National Coalition and former head of delegations representing the Syrian opposition, states that the only enemy for the new regime was Iran and that now there are no enemies. This is said while Israel continues to invade more Syrian territory, raising its flag and launches routine airstrikes throughout the country.
Kiev provided Syria’s HTS with drone operators in order to fight against the Syrian Army during its offensive
The Ukrainians, who are struggling to defend their own territory amidst the NATO war with Russia, sent specialist drone operators along with around 150 FPV UAVs to aid the successful regime change operation. This has called into question their priorities at such a time, given the struggle for manpower in Ukraine.

Among the victims are Professor Shadia Habbal, an internationally recognised expert in physics and astronomy; Dr. Hamdi Ismail, a leading chemist; and Professor Zahra Al-Homsiya, a distinguished biologist.
Israel expands occupation of Syria along border with Lebanon
Israel has expanded its occupation of Syria along the border with Lebanon amidst the political vacuum that now exists in Syria following the Zionist-backed collapse of Assad’s government. According to reports, Israel has already taken control of over 600 square kilometres of Syrian land.
Among other reports, some have stressed the critical importance of Israel expanding its occupation in Mount Hermon, which borders Lebanon, in its recent expansion. The mountain is Syria's highest mountain peak and holds significant strategic value, as its elevated position offers Israel a commanding view of the surrounding region.

Israel destroys Syria’s advanced capabilities in 48-hour air campaign
As Israeli soldiers continue to occupy more Syrian territory, their airforce launched the what it called the largest attack in its history against all major Syrian military assets. Everything from Syria’s naval fleet, to its fighter jets, helicopters, research centres and missile caches were destroyed. No resistance has come to this from the new Syrian government, while HTS and other groups fail to release a single statement on the issue.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned the recent invasion of Syria, emphasising that Israel’s actions represent “continued violations of international law and a deliberate effort to undermine Syria’s efforts to restore its security, stability, and territorial integrity.”
The Qatari Foreign Ministry also weighed in, labelling the Israeli incursion as “a dangerous development and a blatant attack on Syria’s sovereignty and unity, constituting a flagrant violation of international law.”
Meanwhile, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement denouncing Israel’s actions, describing the seizure of Syrian land as “an occupation of Syrian territories and a clear violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.”
Both Türkiye and Al-Jolani are still silent on the matter.
Yemen strikes two US destroyers and three supply ships in the Gulf of Aden
Today, the Yemeni armed forces launched a series of retaliatory strikes in the Gulf of Aden, targeting two U.S. destroyers and three supply ships with rockets and drones.
The Yemeni resistance continued with further operations, including drone strikes targeting the regions of Yaffa and Ashkelon.

As Israel prepares a large-scale attack on Yemen, the nations armed forces announced another drone strike operation that successfully bypassed Israeli air defences and hit a target in Ashdod.
Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is said to have refused to open up a front against Israel
It is alleged that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had proposed opening up a Syrian front against Israel, with the help of Yemen’s Ansarallah, yet this was rejected by the former Syrian leader. Israel has now used the fall of the government to launch a war against the country, occupying territory in the south and destroying Syria’s military capabilities. The Syrian opposition are yet to condemn Israel’s action or take any action, also refraining from opening any front.
