There are growing calls to boycott Muslim dating app, Salams, after it was revealed that the company has been secretly owned by Match Group since October 2023. Match Group’s CEO, Spencer Rascoff, is a vocal supporter of Israel and its war against Palestine, and has publicly raised money for IDF soldiers occupying Gaza. Roscoff was also previously on the board of Palantir, a U.S. tech and defense corporation whose products are crucial in Israel’s hi-tech genocide of the Palestinian population. Palantir provide A.I. products that generate targets for IDF missiles.
Salams’ 7.5 million global users were completely unaware of the sale until it was publicized last week.
The news raises huge issues of privacy, and, considering the long-running history of Israel using personal data to extort and blackmail Muslims, should be deeply concerning to all.
On March 24, the United States carried out a premeditated attack on the Al-Rasool Al-Azam Oncology Hospital in Saada, Yemen, turning it into rubble. At least two people were killed and 13 more injured.
This is not an isolated incident. In fact, in repeatedly targeting and destroying a cancer center in Yemen, the United States has carried on its long tradition of bombing hospitals.
A new report from Alan MacLeod reveals that, since the end of World War Two, the US has destroyed thousands of hospitals in at least 15 countries across the world.

Internal leaks from Meta reveal a monumental campaign coordinated with the Israeli government to remove pro-Palestinian posts across Facebook and Instagram.
According to reports, Meta deleted more than 90,000 posts in response to Israeli government content takedown requests, often acting in less than a minute.
Since October 2023, Meta has also ramped up its use of automated systems to detect and remove content, resulting in over 38 million additional posts being removed, banned, or algorithmically suppressed.

Palestinian resistance group Hamas rejects Egypt's proposal to disarm its military wing, a core element of Egypt's latest plan in an attempt to reach a ceasefire.

Saudi to pay off Syria debt to World Bank
According to reports, Saudi Arabia is preparing to settle Syria’s outstanding debts to the World Bank. A technical delegation from the World Bank met today with Syrian Finance Minister Mohammed Yosr Bernieh — marking the first public meeting between the Syrian government and the international lender.
Other Gulf countries seem poised to follow suit, with Qatar likely to provide funding in the near future. Doha has also announced plans to supply natural gas to Syria through Jordan, aiming to bolster the country's struggling electricity infrastructure.

Yemen fired another drone at Israel, before it was shot down over Jordanian airspace
The suicide drone crashed in the Ma’in area, in Jordan’s Badaba Governorate causing a fire to break out. The Jordanian authorities acknowledged that the drone made impact in their territory, yet refused to state who shot it down, after Israel already claimed to have fired air defence missiles at the drone.
Türkiye has held a meeting with Israel in Azerbaijan, to mediate a solution on roles inside Syria
The talks appear to have been fruitless, as reports indicated that the Israeli delegations aircraft was denied entry to Türkiye’s airspace. Israel previously bombed the T-4 airbase in Syria, which killed 3 Turkish citizens, yet Ankara still proceeded with talks aimed at settling a role for both itself and Tel Aviv inside Syrian territory. The results of these talks could determine the direction Syria is headed.
X suspends the account of Yahya Saree, spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, has had his account suspended by X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Reports indicate that several other Yemeni officials have also faced similar suspensions.
Josephine Guilbeau, a former Military Intelligence officer, was detained and subsequently banned from entering the Palestinian occupied territories at the Jordan River Crossing – the bridge connecting Jordan and the West Bank.
After attempting to cross, she was subjected to intense questioning by Israeli border control and hit with a five-year travel ban for her dissent against US military support for Israel.

US citizens are now required to attain visas to enter Namibia
The move came as a result of Western nations refusing to make visa processes easier for Namibians, the immigration ministry stated. They asserted that “Namibia has extended gestures of goodwill and favourable treatment to nationals of various countries. However, despite these efforts, certain nations have not reciprocated”. Other Western nations also effected include the UK, Canada and Germany.
Shoshana Strock, the daughter of Israeli Settlement Minister Orit Strock, has taken to social media with allegations of sexual abuse, accusing both of her parents and one of her brothers.
In her post, Shoshana explained that resurfacing memories compelled her to break her silence. She added that she feels she is “living under threat from criminal elements” and believes she is “in danger”.
She also disclosed that she has filed a formal police complaint in Italy.
Ahmed Manasra has been freed from prison after being held, since he was a child, in Israel captivity
At only 13 years old, Manasra was beaten by an Israeli mob and rammed with one of their vehicles, causing him significant head wounds. He was then kidnapped by Israeli forces who accused him of participating in a stabbing attack against Israeli settlers, even releasing a video of him being furiously interrogated. An Israeli court later admitted that the 13-year-old had not committed the stabbing, but had been present nearby, yet still charged him with murder and kept him in captivity for a decade. Manasra has served almost half his life in Israeli prison and was freed today.
