✨ Three Sins ✨
— There are three sins, — said the wise man.
The crowd went silent.
— The first sin is schadenfreude. If your neighbor’s cow dies, it’s not a reason to celebrate. I’m not saying you have to help your neighbor, but at least don’t rejoice in their misfortune. Your neighbors are people too; don’t wish them harm.
The crowd murmured in approval. 😌
The wise man waited for the noise to die down and continued:
— The second sin is despair. Even if you have only one cow, even if she’s old and sick, and even if she gives little milk, do not lose hope.
Rejoice in life. Yes, she’s old and sick, but she’s still a cow. Some people, after all, don’t have a cow at all. 🐄
The crowd murmured in approval again.
The wise man waited for the noise to die down, but then a voice from the crowd asked:
— If I don’t despair and am happy that I have a cow, but someone else doesn’t, doesn’t that mean I’m happy because they are worse off than me? Isn’t that schadenfreude? 🤔
The crowd fell silent, pondering the question. The wise man then concluded his speech:
— The third sin is being a bore. 😏

💭What Is the Meaning of Life? 💭
One day, a student asked the Teacher: "Teacher, what is the meaning of life?"
— Whose life? — the Teacher asked in surprise. The student, after thinking for a moment, replied:
— Life in general. Human life.
The Teacher sighed deeply and then said to the students:
— Try to answer...
One student said:
— Maybe it's love? ❤️
— Not bad, — said the Teacher, — but is love alone enough to say, at the end of your days, "I lived a worthy life"?
Then another student said:
— I think the meaning of life is to leave something behind for future generations. Like you, Teacher! 💡
— Ah, — the Teacher smiled, — if I didn't know you better, I’d take that as flattery... Are you saying that most people live in vain?
A third student hesitantly suggested:
— Maybe there’s no need to search for this so-called meaning at all? 🤔
— Hmm, interesting, — the Teacher became intrigued, — explain why you think so!
— It seems to me, — the student said, — that if you focus too much on this question, you’ll never find a clear and final answer. You’ll always have doubts, and whatever answer you do find, someone will always argue with it...
So your whole life will be spent searching for its meaning...
— So, what you're saying, — the Teacher smiled, — is that the meaning of life is to...?
— Live? — the student said.
— I think that’s the answer! — the Teacher said, signaling the end of the lesson. 🌟

💭How to Deal with Bad Thoughts ✨
1. Shift Your Focus 🎯
Don’t try to stop thinking about the "white monkey"—instead, think about the "black one." Or even better, a "purple flamingo." Try to switch your mind to a different subject that you love thinking about but has positive connotations. Keep a few thoughts in your mind that require further questions and answers, drawing you into a different flow of thinking. 🔄
2. Avoid Stress 🧘♀️
Some people think they can fight off obsessive thoughts with a strong distraction, like arguing with neighbors or running naked through the city on a winter night. However, studies show that the more you shake up your emotions, the weaker your brain becomes against the "alien invasion" of unwanted thoughts. Instead, calm down and rest. The more energy and mental strength you have, the better your chances of resisting the attack.
3. Postpone Bad Thoughts ⏳
Make a deal with your intrusive thoughts—you’ll give them attention, but later. Schedule "half an hour for heavy thinking" into your daily routine, but not before bed—try lunchtime instead. When you reflect on what’s bothering you during a break, you’ll quickly get back to work and forget about the problems. 🗓️
Over time, your subconscious will get used to the fact that intrusive thoughts have their specific time slot and will stop bothering you at other times. Then you can think about how to eliminate these thoughts completely. ✔️
4. Focus on Your Goals 🏆
How is a bad thought different from gas? According to physics, gas fills any available space, and a bad thought fills even the space that isn’t available! It makes us focus on it, forgetting there are many wonderful things in the world worth thinking about instead. 🌍
Intrusive thoughts especially love people who have no big life goals or interesting hobbies. Pull yourself out of sad thinking by focusing on your path to success and what will bring you fulfillment. If you work on it, you can gradually train yourself to think positively. 🌟

🎨A Parable About Life's Expectations 🚪
A famous artist painted his latest masterpiece. On the day of its unveiling, many journalists, photographers, and well-known people gathered to see it. When the time came, the artist pulled off the cloth covering the painting. The room erupted in applause. 👏
The painting depicted the figure of Jesus, gently knocking on the door of a house. Jesus looked almost alive, leaning his ear against the door as if trying to hear whether someone inside would respond. 💫
Everyone admired the beautiful work of art. But one curious visitor noticed a mistake in the painting. The door had neither a lock nor a handle. He asked the artist:
— But this door seems to be locked from the inside, how can anyone enter without a handle? 🤔
— That’s correct, — the artist replied. — This is the door to a person’s heart. It can only be opened from the inside. 💖
Moral:
We all expect Love, Joy, Compassion, Happiness, and Success in our lives. But for them to appear, we can’t just sit idly by. We need to take action. At the very least, we must open the door… ✨

🎯Things You'll Regret After 30 ⏳
It's hard to predict everything and write a guide on "How to live perfectly and never make mistakes." But you can learn from the experience of others. 💡
1. Being Afraid of Change ✨
Opportunities rarely come knocking on their own. You have to take risks, meet new people, and change where you live. You won’t be able to change your life until you decide to take action.
2. Saying No to Travel ✈️
There will never be a perfect moment to drop everything and go to far-off lands. From a career perspective, leaving your job may seem pointless, but for personal growth, it’s crucial. If you don’t have kids or a partner, go for it. There won’t be a better time. Travel as much as you can while you still can.
3. Sleeping Too Much 😴
We all love a good sleep, but everything in moderation. Looking back, you won’t remember the days when you slept 12 hours and felt rested. Instead, you’ll remember the days when you were sleep-deprived and suddenly took off on an adventure. 🚀
4. Staying in a Job You Hate 💼
If you can’t imagine doing this job for life, it’s not worth it. If it’s not bringing you closer to your dream job, let it go. You won’t regret leaving a job you hated; you’ll regret holding onto it for too long. ⏳
5. Sticking with Meaningless Relationships 💔
The same rule applies to relationships as it does to work. Don’t waste time on someone who doesn’t deserve it. Don’t stay in a relationship just because it’s convenient. You’re unlikely to say, "I’m glad I stayed with him as long as I could." More likely, you’ll regret the wasted time. Get out before it completely pulls you in.
6. Neglecting Your Health 🏋️♀️
If you want to stay healthy, it's important to start taking care of yourself early. We all know we should eat well, rest, and exercise, but many put off self-care because there’s always something that seems more important. When we become weak and sick, we’ll regret not starting to take care of our bodies sooner.

⏳Expectation ✨
There’s an Eastern proverb: "You can only pour from the jug into the cup what’s inside the jug." Meaning, if it’s filled with water, but you wish for wine, desire alone won’t make it happen.
The same goes for people: sometimes you wait in vain for someone to act a certain way, but they simply aren’t filled with what’s needed to meet your expectations.

🚫How to Get Rid of Intrusive Thoughts 💭
Any conscious attempt to get rid of obsessive, anxious thoughts is doomed to fail—they keep coming back, causing more distress. To tackle this panic, you need a different strategy. 🧘♂️
Describe the Situation ✍️
Our subconscious tries to protect us by painting possible scenarios of what might happen, helping us adapt by imagining the situation. However, that doesn’t mean all our fears will come true. Try writing down the situation to analyze if the danger is as big as it seems.
Can something positive happen instead of negative scenario A? Write out a more successful scenario B. Think in detail about how the situation could unfold positively and what you can do to make it happen. This will help you distance yourself from scenario A and view the situation more realistically.
Defuse the Bomb 🧨
Panic thoughts are like a ticking time bomb, a mechanism inherited from our distant ancestors. "Our brain is highly sensitive to any information it perceives as dangerous. This mechanism helped our ancestors survive in much harsher environments."
Most fears aren’t a reflection of reality but an automatic reaction triggered by the brain’s survival mode. Instead of preparing for an imagined threat, ask yourself if your subconscious is exaggerating the danger.
Live in the Present 🌿
Often, our mind relies only on negative experiences. But we can look at the situation with fresh eyes. Is something bad happening now, or could it possibly happen? Real and potential events are not the same, but the brain easily confuses them. Think about which past experiences your fears might actually be connected to.
"Try to focus on everything that brings you joy in the present moment, as it's the only way to fully experience life." Just because something negative happened in the past doesn’t mean it will happen again in the future.

Wisdom 💭
A man once came to a wise sage and asked:
— How can I become wise? 🤔 The sage replied:
— Go outside and stand on the other side of the door. 🚪
The man was surprised but did as he was told: he went outside and stood there. It was pouring rain, and soon he was soaked to the bone. 🌧️ After half an hour, he couldn’t take it anymore and returned.
— I stood outside, but what did I gain from it? — he asked the sage. — Did anything change?
— While standing in the pouring rain, didn’t anything become clear to you? — the sage asked.
— What could I possibly learn? — the man protested. — I got soaked and felt like a complete fool!
— You made an important discovery, — said the sage. — If a person can admit they are a fool, then the first step is taken. That is the beginning of wisdom.

📚Reasons to Read Books in the 21st Century ✨
1. A Source of Pleasure Always at Hand 🎉
For those indifferent to literature since childhood, reading may seem boring, but for many, it's a source of true joy. How wonderful it is to dive into the plot, reunite with characters we just left behind, and reluctantly close the book to return to our daily lives. When a novel or story is truly captivating, the reader’s only desire is to keep reading without distraction.
Most who say they don’t like reading simply haven’t given it a real try. Mandatory school reading is one thing, but choosing your own book is entirely different. The key is to find your genre, topic, and authors. 🔍
2. A Chance to Relax 🧘♀️
Reading for pleasure helps us relax and forget about reality with its unsolved problems, stress, and everyday worries. A book takes us to another reality, allowing us to stop thinking about work or conflicts for a while. No one suggests constantly escaping from problems into a fictional world, but visiting it now and then to recharge is a healthy tactic.
3. A Way to Get Smarter 🧠
Regularly reading books in our native language helps us learn new things, expand our vocabulary, improve our literacy, and develop better verbal and written skills. And reading in a foreign language offers even more benefits! Books can also indirectly boost our confidence—we know we can write well or prepare a speech with ease. 💪
4. A Key to Imagination Development 🎨
Reading makes our imagination work: we picture landscapes, visualize the main characters, and mentally paint vivid scenes of the action. This is much more active than watching movies. Fantasy novels, in particular, are great for training imagination. As our imagination develops, it often leads to the desire to express ourselves, and when we feel inspired, creativity follows.
5. Concentration Training 🎯
Following a plot requires us to constantly focus and remember what happened to the characters, what they said, and what they thought in previous chapters. This is an excellent way to improve memory.

🔨Parable About Work 🌾
A blacksmith repaired two plows. They looked identical. One remained standing in the corner of the barn, living an easier life than the other, which a farmer loaded onto a cart the next morning and took to the field. There, it became shiny and beautiful. 🌟
When the two plows met again in the barn, they looked at each other in surprise. The plow that hadn’t been used was covered in rust. With envy, it looked at its gleaming friend:
— Tell me, how did you become so beautiful? I had such a peaceful time standing in the quiet corner of the barn.
— It was idleness that changed you, while I became beautiful through hard work. 💪

"The Husband Store" 💍
A parable about how women choose their life partners.
In one city, a store opened where women could choose and buy a husband. At the entrance, the following rules were posted:
-You can only visit this store once in your life.
-The store has 6 floors: the quality of men improves as you go up each floor.
-You can choose any man on the floor or go up to the next one.
-Going back down to a lower floor is strictly prohibited.
One woman hesitated for a while, but eventually decided to visit "The Husband Store" to find her life partner. 🌟
Carefully reading the rules, she entered the store and looked around on the first floor. Here, she saw a sign: "Men with jobs." Smiling, but not staying, she went to the second floor.
The sign on the second floor read: "Men with jobs who love children." 😊 Smiling again, she moved on to the third floor.
The sign on the third floor said: "Men with jobs, who love children, and are extremely handsome." "Wow! — the woman exclaimed. — Men like this exist!" But she didn't stop and went to the fourth floor.
The sign on the fourth floor read: "Men with jobs, who love children, are stunningly handsome, and help around the house." "Amazing!" — she said, but continued to the fifth floor.
On this floor, the sign read: "Men with jobs, who love children, are stunningly handsome, help around the house, and are very romantic." 💖 She was tempted to stay and choose a husband here, but she hurried to the sixth floor.
There, she saw a sign that said: "You are visitor number 2,816,973. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely to prove that women can never be fully satisfied. Thank you for visiting our store!" 😄
By the way, across from the "Husband Store," there’s been a "Wife Store" for a long time. On the first floor, you’ll find women who love sex. On the second floor, rich women who love sex. And no one has ever made it to floors 3 through 6... 😏

🕰️Past, Future, Present ✨
Three wise men debated about what is more important to a person—their past, present, or future. One of them said:
— My past makes me who I am. My skills come from what I learned in the past. I believe in myself because I’ve succeeded in things I’ve done before. I like people who made me feel good in the past or those who remind me of them. I look at you now, see your smiles, and expect your disagreements because we’ve argued many times, and I know you’re not used to agreeing without a debate. 😌💬
— That’s impossible to agree with, — said the second, — if you were right, a person would be doomed, like a spider, to sit day after day in the web of their habits. A person is made by their future. It doesn’t matter what I know and can do now—I will learn what I need in the future. My vision of who I want to be in two years is far more real than my memories of who I was two years ago because my actions now depend not on who I was, but on who I am going to become. I like people who are unlike those I’ve known before. And our conversation is interesting because I anticipate an exciting battle of ideas and unexpected twists. 🤔
— You’ve missed the point, — interrupted the third, — the past and future exist only in our thoughts. The past is gone. The future is yet to come. And no matter if you’re reminiscing about the past or dreaming about the future, you act only in the present. It’s only in the present that you can change your life—the past and future are beyond our control. It’s only in the present that you can be happy: memories of past happiness are bittersweet, and waiting for future happiness is full of anxiety. 😊
