🌟✨ The Legend: Hand of Fate 🌟🤞
The great Japanese warrior Nobunaga once decided to attack an enemy force that outnumbered his own by tenfold. He knew he would win, but his soldiers weren't so sure. On the way, he stopped at a Shinto shrine and said:
🙏 "When I leave this shrine, I'll toss a coin. If it lands heads up, we'll win; if tails, we'll lose the battle."
Nobunaga entered the shrine and prayed silently. Then, upon leaving, he flipped the coin. It landed heads up. His soldiers charged into battle with such fury that they easily defeated the enemy.
👥 "You can't change anything when the hand of fate is at play," his aide said to him after the battle.
🤔 "You're right; you can't change it," Nobunaga replied, showing him a counterfeit coin with heads on both sides.

🤔 Are we truly free in our choices?
In a sense, we do choose our own destiny, but we do so within the bounds of our understanding, awareness of our needs, and motives. Psychoanalysis suggests that we all possess a conflicting nature, and our inner conflicts (such as between reason and emotions, desires and duty, the pursuit of freedom and the yearning for security) often impede our decision-making.
Deep within our personalities lie desires, impulses, and motives that, although unconscious, still influence our choices.
So, what can we do to become freer and realize ourselves?
🔄 Firstly, we must question ourselves and our lives. This implies going through a crisis. Faced with inner soul-wrenching pain, a choice becomes inevitable. What kind of choice? Either settle for who we are and allow suffering to crush us or go through a complete self-disruption to transition to the next level. This is how we learn to sort out our desires, plans, thoughts, and emotions. This is how we become freer.
🌟 We realize that we were blinded by fantasies, imagination, and delusions where everything revolved solely around us and our imagined greatness. After this, we can truly realize ourselves. 💪✨

🌟 The Youth and the Ring 🌟
Once, a young man came to the Master and said, "I've come to you because I feel so miserable and worthless; I don't want to live. Everyone around me says I'm a failure and a bungler. Please, Master, help me!" The Master, glancing briefly at the youth, hurriedly replied:
😔 "I'm sorry, but I'm very busy right now and can't help you. I urgently need to resolve an important matter," he added after some thought, "But if you're willing to assist me with my task, I'll gladly help you with yours."
😟 "I... I gladly will, Master," the young man muttered, feeling pushed to the background once again.
👍 "Alright," the Master said, taking a small ring from his left pinky. "Take a horse and ride to the market square! I need to sell this ring to repay a debt. Try to get the best price, but under no circumstances should you sell it. Find the most generous buyer, determine the price, and come back for my approval. I want at least a gold coin for this ring! Hurry!"
The youth took the ring and galloped away. Upon reaching the market square, he began offering the ring to the merchants, and at first, they examined his merchandise with interest. However, as soon as they heard about the gold coin, their interest waned. Some openly laughed at him, while others simply turned away. Only one elderly merchant kindly explained to him that a gold coin was too high a price for such a ring and that he might get a copper coin for it, or at most, a silver one. Hearing the old man's words, the young man felt deeply disheartened, for he remembered the Master's strict instruction not to lower the price below a gold coin. After going through the entire market and presenting the ring to a hundred people, the youth saddled his horse once more and returned.
😞 "Master, I couldn't fulfill your task," he said sadly. "At best, I could have fetched a couple of silver coins for the ring, but definitely not a gold one. It's not worth that much."
🧙♂️ "You've just spoken some very important words, my son!" the Master replied. "Before trying to sell the ring, it would have been wise to determine its true value! And who can do that better than a jeweler? Ride to the jeweler and ask him how much he would offer for the ring. Regardless of what he tells you, do not sell it; return to me."
The youth mounted his horse once more and went to the jeweler. The jeweler examined the ring through a magnifying glass, weighed it on small scales, and finally said to the young man:
💍 "Tell the Master that right now, I can't offer more than fifty-eight gold coins. But if he's patient, I'll buy the ring for seventy, given the urgency of the deal."
😄 "Seventy coins?!" the youth joyfully laughed, thanked the jeweler, and dashed back to the Master.
🧙♂️ "Sit down," the Master said, listening to the young man's animated account. "Know, my son, that like this ring, only a true expert can truly appreciate you. So why do you wander through the market, expecting the first passerby to do so?" 😊✨

🕓 How to win the race against time?
Rushing causes additional stress. 🏃♀️
"When it comes to human nature, we shouldn't forget about such a category as temperament - we mean the peculiarities of the dynamics of the nervous system's activity. The tempos, processes of excitement, inhibition, signal transmission are different in different people.
Multitasking leads to procrastination. 🤯
Some people can handle a dozen tasks simultaneously. And there are those for whom it's a powerful stress factor affecting their health.
Lack of rest reduces productivity. 😴
Often, the pace and the need to do something faster in a short amount of time lead to a decrease in the quality of rest.
FOUR EXERCISES FOR SLOWING DOWN TIME.
1️⃣ Catch moments for contemplation. 🧘♀️
2️⃣ Force yourself to sit for five minutes without being distracted by external tasks. 🪑
3️⃣ Don't jump up for five minutes, don't succumb to internal impulses to rush somewhere. 🚶♀️
4️⃣ Hurry slowly, without making unnecessary movements. 🐢

Divine parents, Shiva and Parvati, decided to test their two sons, Ganesha and Subramanya. They were to circumnavigate the world and return to their parents. The one who did it faster would receive a reward.
Subramanya set off immediately and swiftly journeyed through mountains and valleys, while Ganesha circled around his parents quickly, claiming the reward. He said that parents are the whole world, and this statement was deemed correct. 👩👩👦
Ganesha became a deity responsible for acquiring knowledge and protecting all seekers from dangers on their path. 🌍🚶♂️🏔️

🧀🤔 The Cheese Dilemma: Is it Good or Bad? 🤷♂️
Once, Hodja Nasreddin said to his wife:
👨🦳 "Go and fetch some cheese. It strengthens the stomach and arouses the appetite."
👩🦳 "We don't have any cheese at home," his wife replied.
👨🦳 "Well, that's good then. Cheese upsets the stomach and relaxes the gums," Nasreddin remarked.
Surprised, his wife asked:
👩🦳 "So, which of these two contradictory statements is correct?"
👨🦳 "If there's cheese at home – the first one; if not – the second," Hodja replied. 😄🧀

👨👩👧👦 Top Parenting Mistakes 👨👩👧👦
1️⃣Micromanagement: Micromanagers are determined and hardworking individuals who love their children and want them to succeed. The problem is that they do too much for their kids. As a result, children become overly dependent on adults and struggle when entering independent life, lacking self-management skills and motivation. 😓👶
2️⃣Indulgence: Parents typically act with the best intentions, but giving in to every whim and desire of children is one of the most catastrophic parenting trends. When moms and dads cater to every need of their kids, it can hinder the development of equal relationships, as children expect everyone else to cater to their needs. 🤯🧒
3️⃣Poor Example: Whether parents like it or not, they become role models for their children, setting an example for imitation. Parents who engage in constant arguments, blame others, tell lies, or play the victim inadvertently teach their children to do the same. 🙅♂️🙅♀️
4️⃣Neglect: While most parents don't want to neglect their children, many get so absorbed in their work that they delegate parenting responsibilities to older siblings or grandparents. This can result in missing important events in their children's lives. 🙁👪
Remember, parenting is a challenging journey, but avoiding these mistakes can help foster healthy and independent individuals. 💪👩👦👦🌟

🤔 Making choices.
From small everyday decisions to significant steps that change everything or a lot - our life consists of big and small choices we make every day. We are forced to make various decisions every minute. Our choice begins with a simple yogurt purchase but extends to such important things as a life partner, profession, having a child, political beliefs, major purchases. 🛒💼👫
HOW TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE? 🤷♂️
Perhaps, that's the main question. The answer: you can't make the right choice.
Our life happens only once and that's why we can never determine which of our decisions was right and which was wrong. In this situation, we can decide only once, and we are not given a second, third, or fourth life to have the opportunity to compare different decisions."
We can only say whether the decision we made was good or bad in terms of our satisfaction with it, but we cannot determine whether it was the best or the worst - because even a good decision in its consequences may not be the best, and a bad one may be the lesser of two evils. 🤷♀️

💬 The Power of Words: Why You Should Speak About Your Feelings. 🗣️
Unexpressed emotions and fears weigh heavy on the heart and can be the cause of even greater psychological, and sometimes even physiological, problems. Talking through crises - whether small or large, personal or national - is one of our natural, ingrained, healing abilities.
We use words to express needs and desires, and the same goes for feelings. And, finally, just sharing thoughts and feelings with someone makes them not as terrifying as they seemed when we kept them to ourselves. 😌
How to choose a listener? 🤝
In such cases, look for someone who will allow you to vent and keep everything in confidence. It's unlikely that anyone would want their secrets spread all over the world.
Look for a listener who won't interrupt. Sometimes people can't help themselves and start discussing their own problems. However, when someone takes over the conversation, you end up feeling even more overwhelmed, helpless, and lost. 🙉

Lin-Chi used to say:
"When I was young, I enjoyed rowing a boat alone on the lake for hours. If anyone ever tried to offend me or make me angry, I would just laugh and tell myself, 'This boat is empty too.'
One day, I was sitting in the boat with my eyes closed, meditating on a beautiful night. Suddenly, another boat came floating down the stream and crashed into mine. The impact was so strong that I fell overboard. I was furious! I swam over to the other boat, intending to scold the helmsman. But when I reached over the side, I saw that the other boat was empty. There was nowhere for my anger to go. I had no choice but to climb back into my own boat, close my eyes, and turn my attention inward.
On that quiet night, I came to the center within myself. The empty boat became my teacher. Since then, whenever someone tries to offend me or anger rises within me, I just laugh and say to myself, 'This boat is empty too.' With these words, I close my eyes and journey inward."🚣♂️🌌

🤫 Learning to listen to silence. 🌆
The constant noise becomes one of the most significant stresses in the modern big city. All loud sounds are unconsciously perceived as threatening. This happens because for thousands of years, our ancestors lived in a very quiet world.
Quoting Pasternak, "silence is the best thing I've ever heard." And this treasure is accessible to us all. You just need to recognize the need for silence and tranquility as a need for spiritual life. And make the effort to sometimes step away from the noisy comforts of civilization to look within your soul. 🧘♀️
The best respite from artificial noise is provided by the sounds of nature: birdsong, the babbling of a brook, the sound of the waves. Even for those who can't afford regular trips out of the city, there's a solution - audio recordings for every taste. 🌳🎶
