🌟 The Parable of Good and Evil 🌟
Two people stood on the roadside, engaged in conversation.
🤔 A drunkard passed by and mumbled to himself:
😄 "They're probably planning to go to the cellar together to drink wine."
Forgetting all his tasks, the drunkard hurried to the tavern. 🍷🍺
🤔 A promiscuous person passed by the conversing duo and thought:
😏 "Look at them, openly plotting daytime carnal pleasures. Why should I be any different?"
Altering his path, the promiscuous person headed for dens of debauchery. 💃🕺
🤔 A righteous person passed by and reflected:
😌 "These people found time for a meaningful conversation, putting aside their worldly affairs. I, a sinner, haven't found a moment in three days to visit my ailing neighbor."
Setting aside all concerns, the righteous person hastened to offer comforting words to the sick neighbor. 🏡🤝
So, the righteous see goodness in everything, while slaves to vice perceive the world as a temptation to sin. 🌎❤️👥

🤝 Understanding and connecting with your colleagues is the first, most essential step toward office comfort, even if you work remotely. In any team, each of us often unconsciously falls into one of three familiar psychological roles: victim, rescuer, or persecutor.
Victim 😔
Meet the person who always needs assistance. They struggle with tasks and seek a rescuer to conveniently shift all responsibility for what's happening. The victim colleague lives in constant worry about their health. They're either on sick leave or constantly discussing their symptoms with coworkers.
Rescuer 🦸♂️
Introducing the one who willingly or unwittingly takes on the responsibility for the victim. They feel compelled to help. The rescuer defends their unfortunate colleague in front of others, takes on a portion of their work, and occasionally lingers in the office for hours, listening to their complaints. Often, this comes at the cost of the rescuer's personal life and work duties.
Persecutor 😡
This person won't coddle the victim or offer comfort; instead, they're more likely to say, "Come on, pull yourself together!" By pressuring the victim and rushing them, the persecutor devotes too much time to these relationships—much more than they realize or should. Even if they don't express irritation, it can accumulate subconsciously and spill over at home, affecting their partner or children. 😬👥💼

📚🧐 Perspective Matters 🤔📖
Once, during a social issues class, our professor held up a black book and said, "This book is red."
😮 We all chimed in, "No, it's not."
😏 But he insisted, "Yes, it's red."
He then turned the book around, revealing its red back cover. He said, "Don't tell someone they're wrong until you've looked at the situation from their perspective." 📚

😫 Burnout: What to do when you've forgotten how to relax.
The ability to excel at work is admirable. Workaholics dedicate every minute to their tasks. However, like any addiction, workaholism consumes physical and mental resources, putting you at risk of professional burnout.
😓 One sign of burnout is when you feel exhausted yet have an agonizing urge to keep running somewhere. Burnout implies an inability to relax, to simply "do nothing."
😔 It prevents you from finding joy in simple things—sleeping, taking a bath, leisurely strolls, savoring dinner, or having a conversation. What can help us relearn how to relax?
🧘♂️ In mild cases of burnout, nervous exhaustion is caused by external rather than internal factors. In such cases, it's essential to reassess your work schedule and consider practices like yoga or meditation. These can be helpful steps to find balance and regain the ability to relax. 🌿

🕯️✨ Four Candles: A Tale of Hope 🕯️❤️
Four candles burned calmly, slowly melting... It was so quiet that you could hear them crackling, as if they were having a conversation.
💬 The first one said, "I am Peace. Unfortunately, people don't know how to keep me. I think there's nothing left but to go out!" And the flame of the first candle went out. 😔🕯️
💬 The second one said, "I am Faith. Sadly, I am not needed by anyone. People don't want to hear anything about me, so there's no point in burning any longer." As it spoke, the second candle extinguished. 😞🕯️
💬 Saddened, the third one said, "I am Love. I no longer have the strength to burn. People don't appreciate me. They don't know how to give or receive love." And the flame of the third candle went out. 😢🕯️
Suddenly, a child entered the room. Seeing the three extinguished candles, the child got scared and cried out, "What are you doing?! You should be burning! I'm afraid of the darkness!" And the child started to cry. 😥🕯️
With excitement, the fourth candle exclaimed, "Don't be afraid, and don't cry! As long as I'm burning, you can light the other three candles. I am Hope." 🕊️🕯️✨

🕊️🌟 Faith in Immortality: A Reflection by Epicurus 🤔🌌
Faith in immortality arises from the thirst of insatiable souls who recklessly squander the time granted to them by nature.
The wise find this time sufficient to traverse the entire circle of attainable pleasures. When the time of death arrives, the wise one gracefully steps away from the table, making room for other guests.
For the wise, one human life is enough, but the fool will not know what to do with eternity.

😓 Struggling to make decisions?
It happens to the best of us. When you're faced with a choice and can't make up your mind, panic can set in. "Awkwardness, frustration, embarrassment, guilt for procrastinating – these feelings can escalate into irritation and even anger if someone pushes or criticizes you," says the expert.
🤯 Ironically, the more you waver, the more certain you might actually be about what to do. But you still wait for someone else to make the decision for you. This unconscious strategy allows you to avoid taking responsibility for the consequences and shifts the choice onto someone else's shoulders.
😬 FEAR OF MISTAKES
People who struggle to make decisions often suffer from self-doubt. They fear making mistakes because choosing one option in a restaurant's menu means rejecting all the others. "Lack of self-confidence becomes a person's defining trait if, from early childhood, they've been used to relying on others' opinions – parents, friends, or authority figures – when making decisions."
✅ WHAT TO DO?
Don't fear taking risks
Challenge yourself, your surroundings, and celebrate your victories. Every decision you make, like every personal victory, strengthens your self-confidence. Use the role model technique: choose someone bold and decisive whom you admire for their success and willpower. When making decisions, ask yourself: "What would they do in my place?"
Change your perspective
You're wrong when you say, "I can't make this decision." In reality, you make numerous decisions every day! So, change your perspective: pay more attention to the decisions you've already made today. You might be surprised by your own capabilities. 🌟

🚜🛠️ The Farmer and the Broken Tractor 🛠️🌾
The farmer's tractor stopped working.
😩 All the attempts by the farmer and his neighbors to fix the machine were in vain. Finally, he called a specialist. The specialist examined the tractor, tested the starter, lifted the hood, and meticulously checked everything. Then, he took a hammer, aimed, struck the engine once, and got it running. The engine roared to life as if it had never been broken.
💰 When the mechanic handed the farmer the bill, the farmer, looking surprised, protested:
😡 "You want a hundred coins just for one hammer strike?!"
🛠️ "Dear friend," the mechanic replied, "I only asked for one coin for the hammer strike. The other ninety-nine coins are for my knowledge, which allowed me to fix the breakdown with just one precise strike in the right place." 🔧💡

🤔 Feeling stuck? We all have the power to change! It's possible to stop fixating on failures, worry less, and stay true to ourselves.
🔄 Change doesn't always mean getting divorced, leaving your family, or starting over from scratch. Those can be extreme steps. But should you work with gritted teeth? Endure a boss who constantly criticizes you? Settle for a loveless relationship just for the sake of the children?
💪 Remember, we're constantly evolving, growing, and gaining new experiences. Our lives should evolve with us. Clinging to what used to work for us is futile. To stay true to yourself, it's more important to understand what you need right now.
🌟 The key is finding the strength and resources to make a choice: stay and change yourself or leave and change your circumstances. We often stay in situations that cause us suffering because they feel safe and less taxing. Change, even positive change, can be stressful, as our mental resources are limited.
🌻 Embrace change as a tool for personal growth and happiness! Don't let fear hold you back.

😔 We're increasingly losing sight of the true value of life.
We live much better than previous generations, yet somehow, we don't feel happier. Comfort, safety, and new opportunities haven't brought the expected satisfaction. Why is a sense of purposelessness the main problem of the 21st century?
🤯 The meaning and value of human life have become too rigidly tied to utility in people's minds. When we lose the ability to be useful, we plummet into the meaninglessness of existence. This can be called utilitarian perception: only what's useful and successful has meaning.
🕊️ Another factor is that people have become less religious, with an increasing number belonging to no faith, resulting in a lack of guiding principles.
🌟 People have become less aware of why they should live their lives in the first place. Transcendence, reaching beyond one's existence through service to a higher power, is no longer a guiding force. Instead, people are left to seek new orientations on their own.
💡 However, today, we have countless new opportunities. Doesn't this affect the richness and meaningfulness of our lives?
✅ You're absolutely right; it does. We indeed have more opportunities to shape our own lives. The free market, for example, provides us with possibilities our parents and grandparents could hardly dream of. Life offers a multitude of different activities and ways to find pleasure.
🍔 But believing that consumption can replace meaning is a grave mistake. It's more like trying to satisfy hunger for meaning with ersatz substitutes. As the number of possibilities and temptations keeps growing, the problem of finding meaning only intensifies. It takes a strong and clear-thinking personality to maintain authentic life principles. 🌄

👴🍽️ The Old Man and the Old Dish 🍲👶
Once, there lived a very old man. His eyes were dim, his hearing dulled, and his knees trembled. He could hardly hold a spoon and often spilled soup on the tablecloth during meals, and sometimes bits of food fell from his mouth. His son and daughter-in-law looked at the old man with disgust and began seating him in the corner by the stove during meals, serving his food in an old dish. From there, he sadly gazed at the table, and his eyes would well up with tears. One day, his hands shook so badly that he couldn't hold the dish, and it fell to the floor, shattering. The young hostess scolded the old man, but he didn't say a word, only sighed heavily. So, they bought him a wooden bowl, and now he had to eat from it.
🧒 One day, as the parents sat at the table, their four-year-old son entered the room with a piece of wood in his hands. "What do you want to do?" asked the father.
👦 "I want to make a wooden dish," replied the little one, "so that you and Mom can eat from it when I grow up." 🍽️❤️

☕ Meditation - it's like a beneficial dose of caffeine!
Many associate meditation with relaxation and finding that elusive "inner peace." But, in reality, meditation also works like a strong cup of coffee - it enhances your ability to focus and be more productive. Companies like Google and Facebook offer specialized meditation training for their employees.
🧘♀️ Meditation isn't just about sitting in a lotus position for hours; it's a process of understanding your thoughts and feelings, helping you make conclusions about how to become happier.
🤯 Another "side effect" of meditation is the ability to see unconventional solutions.
While the full impact on the body is not entirely understood by science, it's known that these effects are achieved through the release of endorphins and improved blood circulation in the brain. In other words, both help us feel less tired, but during meditation, we truly relax instead of simply masking fatigue.
💤 The rest your body receives through meditation is several times deeper than sleep, although it doesn't mean you can replace sleep with it 🧘♂️

🚶♂️🔥 The Wanderer and the Fire 🔥🏘️
A lone wanderer arrived in a village and began seeking alms. He first approached a stingy woman, who gave him an old scarf. Another woman, however, spared no expense and gave the wanderer many fine things.
But as soon as he left, a fire broke out and everything was consumed. The wanderer hurried back and gave back everything he had received: to the generous woman, he returned much, and to the stingy one, only her tattered scarf. 😔🔥🧣
