🧠 Ways to Get a Little Smarter Every Day! 📚

🍳 During breakfast, read book summaries. Newspapers and newsfeeds might not be the best choice for a good morning. Staying updated on the most useful book releases through concise summaries in your area of interest can be enlightening. 📖🌅

🚗 On your way to work, listen to podcasts or audiobooks. It's an easy and enjoyable way to keep learning. Lectures can also be an excellent source of valuable information. 🎧🚗

🍵 At work, drink green tea. Green tea contains L-theanine, an amino acid that enhances focus and reduces stress without causing drowsiness. 🍵🧘‍♂️

🍭 Limit your sugar intake. It's best to cut it out altogether, but if you're not ready for such drastic measures, try to avoid sugary treats during intense work sessions. Sharp spikes and crashes in blood sugar levels can negatively affect your cognitive abilities. 🚫🍬

🍳 "Fuel" your brain with fatty acids found in eggs or fish. They can boost brain function. 🧠🐟

🗣️ Interact with knowledgeable people. Habits are contagious, and not just the bad ones. The lifestyles and thought patterns of the people around you will inevitably leave an imprint on you. Surround yourself with those from whom you can learn. 🤝🧐

🚶‍♀️ Take walks. Walking improves blood circulation, oxygenates your brain, and significantly reduces stress hormone levels. A midday stroll is a recharge for the deep evening. 🌞🚶‍♂️

🤔 Who Do You Want to Become?

One day, a grandson proudly showed his grandfather a book he had bought with the money given to him as a gift. The grandfather flipped through the book and then sighed heavily, showing his disapproval. 😔📚

The grandson asked him, "Why did you look so sad when you saw my book?"

The grandfather pointed to the shelves filled with home books that the grandson had never read and replied, 📖

"Choice is the result of your aspirations. If you wanted to become a pilot, you would have chosen a book about airplanes and pilots. If you aspired to be a scientist, you would have bought something related to science. But you chose a book about scandals and nonsense. So, I wondered, who do you want to become?" 🤨

🌟 Planning Your Success 🌟

It's not enough to just think about success; you need to plan for it. 📈 Those who plan their day, career, budget are more successful than those drifting along with the flow. 🌊 They have a clear end goal, a desired outcome, and a plan to achieve it. 🗺️ They're ready to take systematic actions, track progress, and celebrate even small victories. 🎉

What does it take to learn how to plan and achieve?

1️⃣ Think about how you'd like to see your life in a few years. What's important to you? In which area would you like to realize yourself or achieve something?

2️⃣ Clearly define your goal: it should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound. 🎯

3️⃣ Break it down into sub-goals (intermediate goals) and see what intermediate steps can help you achieve it. Ideally, each should take from 1 to 3 months. 📆

4️⃣ Create an action plan and start implementing it within the next 72 hours, periodically checking it against what you've written. 📋

5️⃣ Have you done everything necessary to achieve the first intermediate goal? Look back and pat yourself on the back for your success. 🙌

🛍️ "Husband Store" 👫

A tale about how women choose life partners.

In one city, a store opened where women could choose and buy husbands for themselves. At the entrance to the store, the rules of the store's operation were posted:

You can visit this store only once in your lifetime.
Our store has 6 floors: the quality of men improves with each floor.
You can choose any man on the floor or go up higher.
It is strictly forbidden to return to a lower floor.

One woman hesitated for a while but decided to visit the "Husband Store" to find a life companion.

After carefully reading the rules, she entered the store and explored the first floor. Here, she saw a sign that read: "Men with jobs." She smiled and didn't linger here, heading to the second floor.

The sign on the second floor announced: "Men with jobs and who love children." She smiled again and didn't stop here, proceeding to the third floor.

The sign on the third floor stated: "Men with jobs, who love children, and are incredibly handsome." "Wow!" exclaimed the woman. "Such men exist!" But without staying here, she went up to the fourth floor.

The sign on the fourth floor read: "Men with jobs, who love children, are incredibly handsome, help with household chores." "This is fantastic!" the woman exclaimed. Still, she continued to the fifth floor.

On the fifth floor, the sign read: "Men with jobs, who love children, are incredibly handsome, help with household chores, and are very romantic." The woman wanted to stay on this floor and choose a husband, but she hurried to the sixth floor.

There, she saw a sign that said: "You are on this floor as visitor #2816973, and we regret to inform you that there are no men here. This floor exists only to prove once again that it is impossible to satisfy a woman. Thank you for visiting our store!"

By the way, right across from the "Husband Store," the "Wife Store" has been in business for a long time. On the first floor are women who love sex. On the second floor are the rich women who love sex. As for the floors from the 3rd to the 6th, no one has ever ventured there... 😄💑

🌟 Steps towards change 🌟

Don't be afraid to change your goals. 🎯
Then, changed circumstances won't throw you off track. 🛤️ There's nothing wrong with making lists; they help organize. 📝 But life is full of unexpected events, both good and not so good. 🌦️ Flexibility in your plans allows you to accept changes more calmly and find joy in them. 😊

Learn to find benefits even in negative situations.
🤷‍♀️ What happened, happened; you can't change the past, but you can change your attitude towards it. 🔄 It's up to you, to suffer or to rejoice. 🙃

Constantly try new things:
places, food, activities, and meet new people. 🌍 This will not only help you break the "Groundhog Day" cycle but also make life more interesting. 🌈 If you always follow the same path, you'll see the same scenery. If you want to get something you've never had, do something you've never done. 🚀

Clear some space in your closet, your phone, and your life.
It's interconnected. Useless things in your closet not only occupy valuable space but also steal precious time when you're trying to find something you need, and they bring down your spirits. 🕰️😔

Don't procrastinate; what can be done today should not be postponed until tomorrow.
📚 Besides the daily routine tasks, we gradually accumulate a so-called "backlog." 🗂️ It's a list of things we put off for later because they're not very big, not very important, or just boring. At some point, there are so many of these tasks that they become overwhelming, and it's unclear where to even start. 😅

👫 Friend

Caesar had only one person he trusted and considered a friend: his physician. Moreover, when he was ill, he would only take medicine if the physician personally administered it to him. 💊😷

One day, when Caesar was not feeling very well, he received an anonymous note: "Beware of your closest friend, your physician. He wants to poison you!" 📜😱

After some time, the physician arrived and gave Caesar his medicine. Caesar handed the note he had received to his friend and, while the physician was reading it, he drank every last drop of the medicinal mixture. 💧🤯

The physician froze in horror:

"Master, how could you drink what I gave you after reading this?"

To which Caesar replied:

"I'd rather die than doubt my friend!" 💪🤝

🚫 False Beliefs Holding You Back:

🙅‍♂️"It Was Nothing"
Denial is the most powerful defense mechanism that allows us to effectively erase traumatic events from our memory. But even if we don't remember something, it still influences our decisions and life, striking at inappropriate moments. 😓

🙅‍♀️ "It Wasn't That Bad"
Downplaying a problem may seem like a less terrible option because it acknowledges the problem's existence. However, trying to convince yourself that it didn't provoke strong emotions or serious harm ultimately leads to suppressed feelings exploding. 😡

🙅‍♂️ "It's a Disaster"
Turning a molehill into a mountain isn't the best idea. By deliberately magnifying the significance of minor incidents, innocuous words, or fleeting feelings, we allow them to impact our lives. 😫

🙅‍♀️ "I Was Right About Everything"
If you're the sole adviser — yourself, you won't be able to see the situation from a different perspective. Believing your point of view is the only correct one hinders finding a constructive solution. 🤷‍♂️

🙅‍♂️ "I'm the Stupidest Person Alive"
Usually, it's someone else's opinion that becomes a personal belief. It could be a parent, teacher, friend, or partner. If someone repeatedly tells you that black is white, you'll eventually believe it. 😔

🙅‍♀️ "My Life Is Awful"
Everyone experiences ups and downs, calm and challenging times, joyful and sorrowful days. The best days are defined by the contrast with the bad ones. 🌦️

🙅‍♂️ "I Have No Choice"
This is one of the most common false beliefs. Even in the most dire circumstances, we have choices. The issue may be that we don't like the options we have to choose from. 🤔

🙅‍♀️ "I Can't Control Myself"
It's an attempt to justify behavior one deems unworthy. Often, people with addictions use this phrase. 🙅‍♂️

Let's challenge these false beliefs and empower ourselves to make positive changes in our lives! 💪

The Parable of Labor 🔨

The blacksmith repaired two plows. They looked the same. One of them remained standing in the corner of the barn. Its life was easier than the life of the other plow, which the peasant loaded onto the cart and brought to the field the next morning. There, it became beautiful and shiny. 🌾

When both plows met again in the barn, they looked at each other in surprise. The plow that had not been used for work was covered in rust. With envy, it gazed at its shiny companion. 🚜😕

"Tell me, how did you become so beautiful? I was so comfortable standing in my corner in the silence of the barn," it said.

"Idleness changed you, while I became beautiful through hard work," replied the other plow. 💪👷‍♂️

🧘‍♂️Lessons of Dao🧘‍♀️

Acting like water💧
"Wise is he who does not try to shine; he just shines." - "Dao De Jing," Chapter 22. 🌟

Water, according to the teachings of Dao, symbolizes "effective virtue" - a beautiful illustration of active passivity (corresponding to yin). It teaches us that attempts to resolve conflicts or dead-end situations through force or rigid opposition often prove futile and drain us of vital energy. They weaken us, creating an illusion of control.

Acting like water means attaining inner peace and examining the problem from all angles, much like water flows around obstacles. This helps delay action and find unconventional solutions or tools for problem-solving. Or it might involve stepping back and evaluating the validity of our goals and the means we've chosen to achieve them. Like water, calmly and persistently paving its way, reaching its goal effortlessly. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

"Serving as an example, the wise maintain unity and become a source of inspiration for all. They do not proclaim themselves, and therefore they have merit." - "Dao De Jing," Chapter 22. 🌞

Maintaining unity means embracing the natural opposites within our consciousness: yin and yang, action and inaction, shadow and light... By accepting the duality of their nature, individuals no longer deceive themselves or judge others. Their balance positively influences those around them, and their kindness strengthens others' self-confidence. 🤝❤️

"Instead of filling to the brim, it is better to stop in time." - "Dao De Jing," Chapter 9. 🔥

The sacred fire is a metaphor for living energy, or Qi, which is the life force. All Daoist practices—meditation, breathwork, dietary principles—serve to maintain equilibrium as both the goal and the means to a fulfilling life. Excesses cause a person to wither and extinguish their sacred fire, which they once tended. Identifying excesses—whether in the material realm, emotionally, or in relationships—and then reducing them to a level where we expend no more energy than necessary is an essential prerequisite for anyone seeking a long and peaceful life. 🕊️

Memory 🌸

An old wise Chinese man was walking across a snowy field when he saw an elderly woman crying. 😢

"Why are you crying?" he asked. 🤔

"Because I'm thinking about my life, my youth, the beauty I saw in the mirror, and the man I loved. God is cruel for giving us the ability to remember. He knew I would remember the spring of my life and cry," she said. 😔

The sage stood on the snowy field, gazing intensely at a single spot, lost in thought. Suddenly, the woman stopped crying. 🧘‍♂️

"What do you see there?" she asked. 👀

"A field of roses," replied the sage. "God was kind to me when He gave me the gift of memory. He knew that even in winter, I would always be able to remember spring and smile." 🌹😊

🤐 4 Forbidden Conversation Topics 🚫

😇 As our culture of tolerance and ethics continues to evolve, it becomes confusing at times to know what can be discussed in a conversation with someone and what should be avoided. Taboo topics are decreasing, but there are still areas where it's better to steer clear, especially with unfamiliar individuals. Let's talk about them.

🙊 Other people's secrets and unpleasant facts:
Most people despise gossips, especially those who have no qualms about poking their noses into other people's business. Additionally, gossipers often transmit their inadequacy, trying to gain recognition by compromising someone else. Negative information always carries negative energy, which affects both those who hear it and those who spread it. Wise people prefer to keep such information to themselves, as there's no good that comes from sharing it.

🤐 Personal possessions:
Some people are incredibly vain. They constantly boast about their house, car, clothing, influential acquaintances—basically, anything that can be bought with money. Such behavior reflects low self-esteem. Those who constantly talk about what they own suffer from serious personal issues. They try to demonstrate their strength and attract attention by talking about their possessions. To outsiders, they appear obsessed with material wealth, but in reality, they are just shallow individuals who worship things and power.

💸 Income:
It's best not to openly discuss income, primarily because we aren't aware of someone else's financial situation. Typically, people who frequently discuss their financial well-being are depressed and lack self-confidence. They are the ones who constantly seek approval and are solely interested in money.

😄 Future plans:
It's normal to take pride in your achievements. It's great if you are satisfied with yourself and your successes. Scientifically, it's been proven that people are more likely to achieve long-term goals when they keep them secret. The likelihood of realizing a desire decreases when everyone knows about it. When we share our plans with others, it feels like they've already come true. Our brain tricks us into believing that we're almost there, even when we're not. This false sense of victory can sabotage our drive towards success.

🌟 The Path of Trade 🤝

👦 Once, a student asked the Teacher: "Teacher, tell me, what should I do? I approach a client, talk about my product, and they say they don't need it at all."

– But do they really need it? – asked the Teacher.

– Yes, I'm sure of it! It's a very good product, everyone needs it!

– Prove to me that I need it.

🗣️ And the student began to talk about his product. He spoke for quite some time, but when he finished, the Teacher frowned and said:

– Still, I'm not sure I need this product.

🤔 The student went home and prepared for seven days. Finally, he came back to the Teacher and asked for permission to talk about his product again. The Teacher listened to his brief speech and said:

– Yes, I need this product, and I will actually buy it from you. Here, take the money. But what's the most important lesson you've learned this week?

– I've learned that you need to prepare.

– That's one lesson, – said the Teacher, – and the second?

– The second... that you need to speak more concisely?...

– Almost. The longer you prepare, the shorter your speech should be. 📢💡

🤔 What Do Successful People Conceal? 🚀

😎 We often only see the outcome of a project, actions, or someone else's success. We fail to notice the larger part of the iceberg.

🍀 Luck and success:
We confuse luck and success. Luck is something random, unknown, temporary, beyond human control. Success is planned, calculated, earned. Lucky people are pleasant to be around; they are envied, while successful individuals earn respect.

🙌 We all fall into two categories. The first type attributes their successes and failures to external factors: the country is not right, the family is not right, the people around them are not right, the spouse is not right, the timing is not right. The second type takes responsibility for the results of their life activities: "My efforts, my strengths and weaknesses, my knowledge, skills, abilities, my mistakes — all of this is mine and depends on me."

🤝 Connections and surroundings:
Emotional support from others becomes no less important. "I don't know a single person who achieved serious results alone. Typically, behind the winners, there are those who believed in them, cared for them, and supported them. It could be a coach, parents, a teacher. Find people who will be your support."

💰 An important factor is funding.
No major project has been realized without investments. "Even if your task is relatively simple, like becoming a good specialist, you'll have to invest in education. Few people mention financial investments when talking about success. If you don't have financial support, seek it or create it."

🧠 Reason and readiness for pain:
Another hidden aspect is familiarity with stress, discomfort, and even pain. "We must grow, and growth involves pain and effort. Pain is a daily component of success. Failures, losses, mistakes. You must know your pain threshold."

🏋️‍♂️ After a good workout, it's hard to move, but an athlete goes on, overcoming unpleasant sensations. Before embarking on a significant leap, ask yourself: How much am I willing to endure? 💪
