The Believer's State After Victory
Among the striking examples in the final chapters of the Qur'an is a Surah in which Allah speaks about the feelings of the believer after the burden of Jihad is lifted and victory is achieved.
Throughout the life of the Prophet ﷺ, the Qur'an was attaching hearts to Allah so they might be victorious. But what happens after the victory? Allah says what can be translated as: 'When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest, and you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes, then exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance.' [Qur'an Translated Meaning 110:1-3].

Seeking Allah's Pleasure Alone
No matter how righteous you become, you will inevitably have someone who hates you! Even the Prophets were not loved by all people!
No matter how corrupt you become, you will inevitably have someone who loves you; even the Dajjal (Antichrist) will be followed by millions when he emerges!
So, do not let their love intoxicate you, nor let their hatred break you. Rectify your relationship with Allah and call upon Him with the supplication of the Day of Ta'if: 'If You are not angry with me, then I do not care [about anything else]!'

The Prayer of the Hypocrite
How disappointing a result it is for a person to discover that they have been praying for years a prayer that resembles the prayer of the hypocrite!
It is the 'pecking prayer.' In Sahih Muslim, the Prophet ﷺ said: 'That is the prayer of the hypocrite; he sits watching the sun until it is between the horns of Satan, then he stands and pecks four [rak'as] so fast, remembering Allah therein but little.'

It is part of the greatness of this religion, and the majesty of the station of 'Ma'iyyah' (Allah being with the servant)! Whenever you flee to Allah, the Majestic and Sublime, and whenever you offer sincerity and selflessness to elevate the word of Allah, the earth is paved for you as a victorious conqueror! The world then shrinks in your eyes and heart, and your hope soars in the 'crops of green birds' [referring to the souls of martyrs]. Those are among the greatest blessings of Divine Company, and all its blessings are majestic!

Cooperation and Victory
"'...If you do not do so, there will be oppression on earth and great corruption" (Qur'an Translated Meaning 8:73)
Al-Tabari, may Allah have mercy on him, said in his commentary: “If you do not do what I have commanded you regarding cooperation and supporting one another in the religion, there will be oppression on earth and great corruption—meaning through the emergence of disbelief, sins, and evil, and the weakening of Islam and its people.”

Truth and Strength
Truth must have a power to support it, for Allah the Almighty sent down the Book and sent down iron.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, your hands, and your tongues.” The West greatly fears Jihad; if they wish to warn against a person or a group, they label them 'Jihadi' or 'terrorist,' and so do the followers and allies of the West!

A Muslim should be keen on what unites rather than what divides. Allah the Almighty has diversified specializations and fields and varied His distribution among His creation. Had He willed, He could have made mankind one single nation, made all schools of thought one, and made all talents identical. However, His wisdom, Glorified be His Name, necessitated otherwise.

Generosity of the Heart
The problem is not wealth or poverty, but the generosity of the heart. A God-fearing believer, in any state—rich or poor—finds that the world is not worth the wing of a mosquito in their eyes. Thus, their behavior does not change, and they are not contaminated by greed or selfishness as their material status shifts.
But the one with a sick heart, infatuated with the world, no matter how much material wealth they possess, will continue to suffer from hardness and self-injustice.

Being with Allah
The Fourth Lesson:
Be with Allah, and He will be with you. You are not a prophet for Gabriel to come and inform you of plots, but you are a believer under the protection and care of Allah.
He diverts evil from you through inspiration, a dream, a delay, a change of heart, or by casting fear into the chest of your enemy. How many escapes have occurred without a thunderbolt, and how many victories have happened without a sword?
Yusuf (Joseph), peace be upon him, left prison because of a vision, and Nimrod perished because of a mosquito. So do not busy yourself with how to survive people, but rather how to be with Allah. For if He is pleased, He suffices, protects, saves, gives, and satisfies!

Malik Bennabi said: 'History is not made by coincidence or the plots of colonialism, but by what the peoples themselves make in their homelands.'
He also said: 'Civilization is only revived through religious creed.'
He also said: 'When the march toward civilization begins, the real provisions are not, by nature, scholars and sciences, nor industrial production or arts—those are the signs that indicate a degree of progress—rather, the real provision is the (principle) which serves as the foundation for all these products.'

You alone, Allah, knew the impact of loss on the heart of the mother of Musa (Moses) when she was about to disclose his identity, so You firmed up her heart.
You alone knew the pain of Maryam (Mary) when she said, 'I wish I had died before this,' so You sent the call to her: 'Do not grieve.'
You alone knew the sadness of Ya'qub (Jacob) when he said, 'I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah,' so You returned Yusuf to him.

The Essence of Reform
'It is You we worship...' [Qur'an Translated Meaning 1:5]. This is the essence of the reform project, the foundation of revival, the laboratory of civilization, the criterion of progress, and the plan for development.
'It is You we worship' is the heart of Surah Al-Fatihah, the heart of the greatest Surah in the Book of Allah. Yet, how many nations have wandered away from this Surah—rather, from just these few words—despite it being an Ayah we repeat dozens of times a day in every unit of the obligatory and voluntary prayers.

The Minimum Threshold of Struggle
There is always a minimum threshold you must not allow yourself to cross, because beyond it lies breakage and collapse.
Spiritual struggle (Mujahadah) is nothing but maintaining that threshold. This limit acts as a safety valve; if you preserve it, it becomes easy for you to rise again. But if you lose it, then blame none but yourself.

The Crisis of the Observer
One of the truly strange phenomena is that the crisis of the 'observer' is no longer limited to wasting time following polemics and contradictions on social networks. Instead, these "Twitter" bickerings have become the primary subject of discussion in the gatherings of the righteous: 'So-and-so replied to so-and-so with a powerful tweet,' 'So-and-so mocked so-and-so with a funny tweet,' or 'So-and-so destroyed so-and-so’s pride,' and so on. What a waste of life!
May Allah bring back the days when gatherings were discussions about the legal preferences of Ibn Taymiyyah, the spiritual insights of Ibnul-Qayyim, the methodology of the early scholars in Hadith, contemporary transactional jurisprudence, and the stories of the righteous from the Biographies of Noble Figures!

Approaching Islamic Creed
The methodological approach I adopt in articulating Islamic Creed is the mosque-based approach, which takes into consideration the purposes for which it was revealed in the divine Revelation.
The approach I adopt in correcting emergent doctrinal errors is the daʿwah-based approach, not the polemical one.
The daʿwah approach requires wisdom, sound and gracious manner, mercy toward those who differ, and sincere concern for them.
Whoever assumes that the method he learned is the only correct one will object to many of the detailed aspects of the two approaches mentioned above.
The polemical approach is not rejected absolutely; however, it has its regulations, principles, and jurisprudence that must be observed. It is for the people of knowledge—not for immature interlopers who intrude upon the tables of the scholars.

Whenever faith settles in the heart, the word of Monotheism becomes rooted: '...a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [reach] to the sky, producing its fruit at all times by permission of its Lord..." (Qur'an Translated Meaning 14:24-25).
Your self-sufficiency grows and you rise in richness; thus you give without waiting, you prefer others without making excuses, and you forgive without harboring grudges. You have seen the world for what it truly is, and the Hereafter by a light from Allah!

The Dawning of Truth
The longing for the victory of truth is overwhelming... tyrants will be stunned at the moment of the decisive turn. Falsehood is nothing but a thin crust that soon breaks, allowing the truth to shine through. In that moment, hearts and eyes must weep. Blessed is he who was a sledgehammer for the destruction of falsehood and a brick in the building of truth.

Knowledge is not about amassing information; rather, it is a responsibility and a means for the rectification of the self and society!

A caller to Allah, no matter how sincere his intention or sound his goal is, must also ensure his means are correct. In our religion, the end does not justify the means, no matter how righteous the end may be. It is not permissible for a person to steal from the public treasury to build a mosque, or to organize sinful entertainment and claim it is a charity event whose proceeds go to the poor.
