South Africa - December 16, 2024 - A disturbing incident has come to light in South Africa, where a man allegedly killed his girlfriend and posted graphic images of the crime scene on his Facebook account.
According to reports, the suspect, identified as Sbusiso Lawrence, claimed in a Facebook post that he had dedicated his life to his girlfriend, despite her being impregnated by another man during their relationship. He allegedly stated that he had accepted and cared for the child but was driven to violence after the girlfriend ended their relationship.
The Facebook post, which has since been widely shared and condemned, included graphic images of the alleged crime scene. The authenticity of the post and the images has not been officially confirmed.

Apple accused of using ‘blood minerals’ by DR Congo
The DR Congo has filed criminal complaints in France and Belgium against Apple subsidiaries, accusing them of using "blood minerals" from conflict zones. Lawyers claim Apple’s supply chain is linked to armed groups controlling mines in the country’s east.

Al Jolani: Syria won’t be used for attacks, calls for US sanctions lift, denies terrorist ties
Mohammed al-Jolani told the UK newspaper on Monday that Israel has no justification for continuing airstrikes in Syria because he insists the country will not be used to launch attacks against its neighbor - or any country.
Jolani claimed that he had already cleared Syria of Hezbollah, Iranian-linked militant groups, and other factions and demanded that US sanctions be lifted. “This issue is not up for negotiation,” he insisted.
He also attacked the designation of his Al-Qaeda offshoot HTS group as terrorists as “a political designation,” admitting only that it “did military activities.”

Justice Reuben Nyakundi has sentenced Jacktone Odhiambo to 50 years in prison for the brutal murder of his former lover, Edwin Chiloba.

It was also established that the two had been in a relationship before the tragic events that led to Chiloba’s death.

This leads to a chronic, progressive loss of brain function, ultimately resulting in dementia.
