Hi everyone! Need help with Symbol opt-in.
Address: NB54TD2VE3PNHIA7Q4MG2AJVGNJXF2XGJUCLKNWZ
Balance: 341 XEM, last transaction in 2019, never did opt-in.
NEM Wallet 2.6.2 shows an error — "address did not have enough NEM at snapshot or XYM already received". But balance is confirmed via API, no opt-in transaction in history.
Tried multiple nodes — same error on all of them. Anyone had this issue? How did you fix it?

If you used a correct mnemonic, then your opted-in address will be visible when adding accounts during import process.

Background:
- I previously had a Symbol wallet on an older PC where I was actively harvesting and holding XYM.
- The PC system crashed, and I didn't access it for several years.
- Recently, I repaired the PC, reinstalled/launched the Symbol Desktop Wallet, and attempted to import my account using the mnemonic phrase.
- However, the balance now shows as zero, with no transaction history visible.

Details:
- Symbol Address: NCQH3XNUUXNK2FANNNBTVDBLHRK76ROHMZT3MYA
- This account was created via the Opt-in process from NEM (XEM).
- I believe I had a balance above the 100 XYM minimum at the snapshot time.
- No signs of unauthorized access or transactions.

Could you please advise on possible causes (e.g., sync issues, file corruption, or Opt-in errors) and steps to recover or verify the balance? I can provide more details like the mnemonic (privately) if needed.

If the transaction is confirmed then the status should be success.

Note: for the API /transactionStatus/{hash}, you will need to verify that the group is confirmed also when the code is Success. Call api on same node you have sent transaction.

For example, below there is a transaction where the code is Success but the transaction can still fail since the group is unconfirmed

Are you sure? Official Symbol docs say opt-in is open for 6 years after launch (until March 2027). Can you share the source about May 2023 deadline?
