Hi, the only thing that counts is your XEM balance when the snapshot is taken. This will be some time in February. What you do before or after the snapshot with your XEM is irrelevant to getting your XYM.

According to the vote, the snapshot date will be moved.

When is launch? February. We find out the date this week at the earliest.
When is snapshot? Shortly before launch.
When does opt-in close? Shortly before snapshot.
