Today is Gathamuga chahre, An ancient Festival of Kathmandu Valley: From today The lakhe dance will be shown at various places. The tradition of Mii pwa lakhe was almost disappeared from patan.The youth group from patan decided to restart this tradition.
During the Gatha Muga chare : An ensemble performs a unique dance. It features a terrifying face which is locally known as Lakhe. It roams around the old routes of the city, creating ghastly fireballs.
