Following the June 4 meeting with Government members, the President instructed the Cabinet to:

🔹submit proposals for additional measures to support agricultural producers hit by the cold spell of May 2024;

🔹secure funding for providing disabled people with rehabilitation technology equipment, acquired both in exchange for electronic certificates and otherwise;

🔹take steps to increase the throughput of the M8 Kholmogory Motorway;

🔹make provisions for the emergence and development of automobile tourism routes, with itineraries including the M4 Don, M8 Kholmogory, M11 Neva, M12 Vostok motorways, and sections thereof to be considered first priority;

🔹ensure all citizens of the Russian Federation are able to use their driver's license to check into hotels as of July 1, 2025.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the social and economic development of Russia's new constituent entities. Key takeaways:

🔹It is crucial to quickly renovate and build new modern housing, public amenities and transport facilities in the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, and Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, while also creating conditions for the rapid development of industry, agriculture, and small and medium enterprises.

🔹Since 2022, both regular and unplanned work has been completed at over 19,000 facilities. 62 blocks of flats have been built and further 2,140 have been renovated. 321 public amenities buildings have been renovated and major repairs have been completed on over 3,000 km of roads.

🔹By 2030, the DPR and LPR, and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions must catch up with the rest of Russia in terms of key parameters that define the quality of life. To that end, a comprehensive programme of social and economic development is now in place in these four regions.

🔹The goals of restoring and developing Donbass and Novorossiya must be fully integrated into the updated system of national projects by the end of this year.

It is crucial for the residents of Donbass and Novorossiya to have decent living and working conditions right now, so that they can see future prospects for themselves and their children.

During the meeting, the President took part in the inauguration ceremonies for several social amenities and production facilities in Russia’s new regions via videoconference.

In particular, a section of Novotroitskoye-Chaplinka motorway was put into operation in the Kherson Region. In the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Krasnodon maternity hospital reopened its doors after major renovations. In Mariupol, Donetsk People’s Republic, a new building at an intensive care hospital and a branch of the Nakhimov Naval School are now open. Additionally, Berdyansk, LPR, saw the launch of the Mayak Federal Youth Centre, which will operate year-round.

Vladimir Putin met with Head of the Federal Customs Service Valery Pikalyov

The Head of the FCS briefed the President on his agency's activities:

🔹The digital transformation of customs procedures is being pursued at full speed, with a goal set to reduce the processing time for freight vehicles to under 10 minutes.

🔹A queue management system is being introduced. It is already in place at the vehicle checkpoints of Zabaikalsk, Chernyshevskoye, and Bugristoye, and will soon be implemented at the checkpoints of Tagirkent-Kazmalyar and Pogranichny.

🔹The Federal Customs Service is cooperating closely with the Defence Ministry, in particular, by providing assistance with processing of goods needed for defence industry companies and jobs for participants in the special military operation.

🔹In the fist half of 2024, customs duties totaled 3,361 trillion rubles, which is a 500 billion increase from the same period last year.

Vladimir Putin attended the opening ceremony of the Tver northern bypass section of the M11 Neva motorway and the Togliatti bypass road

The President drove a Lada Aura to the ceremony.

Today's event contributes to the implementation of our own plans and international agreements on developing the Eurasian road infrastructure and the Russian section of the Europe–Western China Expressway, stretching from St Petersburg to Orenburg and Sagarchin, with access to Kazakhstan and on to the People's Republic of China. Other complex and systemwide tasks include development of the Russia and North–South transport corridors and, most importantly, building a modern road network throughout Russia and across all regions.

The 60-km bypass motorway around Tver completes the M11 Neva motorway linking Moscow to St Petersburg. The 100-km bypass motorway around Togliatti will make automobile travel in the region safer and more comfortable, and will further unlock the potential of the Volga region in terms of exports, logistics, industrial development, and tourism.

The President approved a list of instructions following the 27th St Petersburg International Economic Forum

The measures included:

🔸establishing special mortgage terms for families with children as part of the preferential mortgage programme;
