extremely talented Eagles team.
18. | [](/ATL) | Falcons | +6 | 1-0 | week 1 of the regular season saw Arthur Smith playing his favorite 1920s style of football. With nothing but 2022 Mariota tape running through his head, Ridder has looked as risk-adverse as they come. It turns out that when you have a top 3 running game to lean on, you don't need to be more than a game manager to win. Bijan/Allgeier are 1a and 1b at the moment, behind a line that knows nothing outside of fine dining and run blocking. The defense showed up as well, albeit against a rookie quarterback. As Cincinnati struggled against Cleveland, former Bengal Jesse Bates had a banner day headlined by two interceptions and a forced fumble. Next week should be a bigger test for the defense, and especially the porous defensive line that gave up 150 running yards to a less talented backfield than Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Regardless, a winning record is a place Atlanta hasn't been since 2017, and it looks like Smith is sticking to his game plan whether the fans like it or not.
19. | [](/SEA) | Seahawks | -6 | 0-1 | The only way to summarize Seattle's week 1 is with one simple word: ugly. Ugly on offense, ugly on defense, ugly everywhere. Things started fine in the first half, entering halftime leading the game 13-7. DK Metcalf had found the endzone, and the team looked competent. The second half, however, would turn into a nightmare. The Seahawks lost both starting tackles Charles Cross and Ace Lucas in addition to Tyler Lockett and Uchenna Nwosu. While they certainly had some brutal injuries, the Seahawks were abysmal in the 3rd and 4th quarters. The offense gained 12 TOTAL YARDS in the second half. The defense could not answer for Rams receivers Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell, which is a bit of a concerning statement. Pete Carroll is going to have to get this squad to do a total 180 to be ready for Detroit this coming Sunday.
20. | [](/NE) | Patriots | -- | 0-1 | Welcome back to the salt mines, haters. The story for the Pats has changed, and also it hasn’t. They now have some young weapons with real potential. They now have a competent offensive coordinator. The roster is now deep and versatile except for the O-Line. They have moments where they look like they can hang with any team… but they still shoot themselves in the foot with sloppy turnovers early. They still can’t overcome situational adversity. They still don’t execute the game of inches in the clutch. I believe that we’ll see that change this year as Belichick is always at his best when the dark clouds are swirling around the program. It is frustrating to see this pattern playing out while we wait for the ship to turn.
21. | [](/OAK) | Raiders | +5 | 1-0 | As expected, the Raiders sit alone atop the AFCW after the first week of play. We had a close fought game against a surprisingly okay Broncos team. The Broncos has 6 possessions, with the Raiders having 7 (although 2 of which were at the end of each half when we weren't trying to score points), which is far below the league average of 12 possessions each per game. Neither team could seem to get the other off the field, luckily for us, Daniel Carlson is the best kicker in the league and he didn't miss any of his attempts, which let us secure a win that shouldn't have been as close as the scoreboard showed. We go into week 2 heading to Buffalo to play a pissed off team coming off a shocking loss, I don't think it's going to be pretty.
22. | [](/TB) | Buccaneers | +8 | 1-0 | Following an overall disappointing season by the Tompa Bay Buccaneers, the franchise replaced the 199th pick as their QB of choice with a #1 one. Needless to say, all* eyes will be on the Tampa Bake Buccaneers this season after their first game of the season ended up above the expectations many had for the team this season. (*=barely any, as no Brady means going back to the glorious era of no TV coverage, no ESPN segments, no expectations, and ~~MRSA~~ just pure vibes with cheaper season tickets)

[2023] Official r/NFL Week 1 Power Rankings
Welcome back to the 2023 installment of the official r/NFL Power Rankings. With upsets and beatdowns galore, questions must be asked. Did teams like the Bucs and Rams exceed expectation, or were the Vikings and Seahawks simply that bad out the gate? How long will the Packers/Bears lil bro dynamic continue for? Are the Giants brave enough to show their faces for *checks notes* three *more* primetime games by week six? How sustainable is a Falcons team that refuses to throw past the line of scrimmage? Football discussion time!

1. | [](/SF) | 49ers | +4 | 1-0 | The 49ers dominated both sides of the ball in an impressive victory over a Steelers squad with playoff hopes. Brock Purdy answered all questions about his surgically repaired throwing arm by picking up right where he left off last season, and Nick Bosa shone on defense as the 49ers won 30-7. Next week the team heads to Los Angeles to take on the NFC West rival Rams.
2. | [](/PHI) | Eagles | -- | 1-0 | Going into the season, the clearest weakness on paper was middle of the field on defense with young, unproven linebacker and safety corps. As expected, the Pats exploited that area, which might be even weaker now with injuries on a short week. What was less expected was the offense’s inability to move the ball. It’s only week 1, so for now most Eagles fans are chalking it up to off-season rust or the weather, but we’ll get more answers pretty soon with a matchup against the Vikings on TNF. Nick Sirianni weeping on sideline count: 0.
3. | [](/DAL) | Cowboys | +3 | 1-0 | That may have been one of the most one sided, three-phases dominant, go home early ass-whoopings in recent memory. 7 minutes of methodical offense by the Giants, and then it was over. Starters get pulled all the time, and teams switch to the prevent defense and the burn-the-clock offense, but how often do play callers come down from the booth with 10 minutes left in the game? This game also showed a terrible decision by Brian Daboll: Daniel Jones should have been pulled at least a quarter earlier than he was with the abuse he was taking.
4. | [](/KC) | Chiefs | -3 | 0-1 | Leading into the season most of the talk around the Chiefs dealt with Chris Jones and his impending extension. After watching the season opener it became clear that the defense without Jones is a better unit than the offense without Kelce. Fortunately, as of writing this Jones has ended his holdout and Kelce looks like he's going to go against the Jags on Sunday. That will mark a true test against a great opponent on the road with all of their key pieces back.
5. | [](/MIA) | Dolphins | +4 | 1-0 | Week 1 is in the books and it went about as good as any Dolphins fan can ask for. After talk about the Dolphins offense potentially being "figured out," Tua and Tyreek responded by putting up video game numbers in a road win against an extremely talented Chargers team. The other two big threats in our division are dealing with major issues of their own in an AFC East that is open for the Dolphins taking. Next week we go on the road to face an underrated Patriots team that almost stole a win from a Super Bowl caliber team in the Eagles. Hopefully our run defense issues against the Chargers were just a fluke, because our offense being explosive isn't as threatening to opponents if they can just run for 6 yards a carry against us all game.
6. | [](/DET) | Lions | +6 | 1-0 |
7. | [](/BAL) | Ravens | -- | 1-0 |
8. | [](/BUF) | Bills | -4 | 1-0 | What an awful way to start the season, but at least most of the other big name quarterbacks also looked like shit. If there are some positives from this: Tyler Bass is the man, and the defense looked damn good, particularly the front four. The offense? Woof. The Jets have a good defense, but that
doesn’t excuse Josh Allen’s poor decision making. “Diggs down there somewhere” can only get you so far, especially against a secondary as good as the Jets’.
9. | (/CIN) | Bengals | -6 | 0-1 | The Bengals three biggest weaknesses are games in Week 1, games against the Browns, and games in the rain. Week 1 they got all three. Joe Burrow seemed unable to grip a ball or throw it more than 10 yards down the field and the Browns pass rush disrupted the offense enough that they could not get anything going all game. Not using these as excuses, but the Bengals seemed out of sorts the entire game. However, this is a team who has overcome slow starts to the season before so one bad game shouldn't be a huge concern.
10. | (/JAX) | Jaguars | +1 | 1-0 | Sloppy; Perhaps the most accurate word to describe the glitter kittens demonstrating their flavor of prowess over young equines. Fortunately, slop is not currently a stat tracked by Pro-Football-Reference. Jacksonville will need to tuck the win in their belt and prepare for opponents known for carrying much sharper weapons. KC won't let the Jaguars erase mistakes as the Colts did, so they'll need to protect the ball much better in order to manifest the 2-0 start to the season they so desire.
11. | (/LAC) | Chargers | -3 | 0-1 |
12. | (/CLE) | Browns | +9 | 1-0 | The Browns haven't won a week one game since 2004 and finally managed one this year, looking amazing while doing it. Over all things appear to be working out. Will a winning season help people forget about the... unpleasantness last year? Time will tell. The Browns will face the Steelers in Pittsburg on Monday Night Football.
13. | (/GB) | Packers | +6 | 1-0 | In a matchup between two teams missing their No.1 wideouts (I'm assuming the Bears were missing DJ Moore because I don't remember him being targeted for most of the game), Jordan Love showed to be the better of the young QB's and eased to a 38-20 win. Love and Fields combined for 4 Packer touchdowns and Aaron Jones flashed with 127 scrimmage yards and two scores himself. I'd still like to see Jordan Love perform against a team he doesn't own before I declare him to be our long-term franchise QB but if he plays like this week in and week out, Packer fans will be very pleased
14. | (/NYJ) | Jets | -4 | 1-0 | You've got to be fucking kidding me. Listen. The Jets have an elite defense and a couple special young playmakers on offense, but Joe Douglas did not do enough in an all-in year to protect the 39 year old quarterback, nor did he do anything to bring in a competent backup QB. Jets fans deserve better.
15. | (/NO) | Saints | +2 | 1-0 |
16. | (/LAR) | Rams | +11 | 1-0 | The most misunderstood team in the NFL strikes again. Following a tough Super Bowl hangover, injury-riddled season and benign offseason, nobody thought the Rams would amount to anything as they began the year favored in only four games—even derelict fans put up Caleb Williams posters. But, cue Matt Stafford. Now, was this yet another chapter of a bad Rams team beating the Seahawks or a sign of things to come? Who knows—but much tougher tests lie ahead with the 49ers, Bengals, and Eagles in the next four weeks.
17. | (/MIN) | Vikings | -3 | 0-1 | The Vikings drafted Lewis Cine, Andrew Booth and Ed Ingram in the top 60 picks of last year's draft, and the trio have now combined for one forced fumble. The only problem is that forced fumble came last week from RG Ed Ingram while Cine and Booth rode the bench. Hard to win when you cough up three turnovers and force zero of your own, but silver linings include Brian Flores' exotic, aggressive defense limiting the Bucs to 3.6 yards per play, Justin "Reasons to Live" Jefferson putting up an easy 150 yards and Chrstian Darrisaw continuing to choose violence. But silver linings might be harder to find in a couple days as the Vikings head into the Linc Thursday night to face an

###WELCOME TO THE 2023 R/NFL ROAST OF THE NEW YORK GIANTS
-------------
Guidelines:
1. Try to make original jokes. We've all seen the played out jokes and memes (examples:28-3,one yard short, russ throwing on the one yard line), let's get some new material in here. Find a new slant.
2. Don't waste your good jokes about another team until it's their turn to be roasted.
3. Jokes are jokes. Laugh, head over to the burn center, and move on. Let's not get into heated arguements in these threads, they are just for fun.
4. Don't troll and/or attack the users posting jokes.
5. Teams were chosen in a random order. You'll find out the next team to be roasted in the current thread. This will give you a day to craft your jokes.
6. HAVE FUN! When all 32 teams have been roasted, we'll be just a few days away from regular season football. That being said,fire away!

the ground up instead of trying to take shortcuts based on one successful year.
But realistically, the Giants should think that this coaching staff will get the most out of the players on the roster and assert themselves as a year in year out playoff team. Not necessarily a Super Bowl contender yet, the roster still has its question marks, but by this time next year, we should be talking about the Giants as a team we just expect to make the playoffs.
If you've made it all the way to this point, thank you so much for reading this and powering through my overly wordy and meandering writing. As always, this is a really fun post for me to write every year and I'm thankful for the opportunity to come back and write it again.
And as always, if you have comments, questions, corrections, proclamations, etc, definitely drop them here!

spell Saquon in short yardage type situations and keep Saquon fresh for the things only Saquon can do.
>
>Gary Brightwell was also with the team last year, and will be fighting for a roster spot overall. Historically he makes the roster on special teams, but if he can show more chops on offense, he has a shot.
>
>The Giants also signed James Robinson this week, and if he looks healthy (according to the Patriots beat, he did not), he has a real shot as well.
# Storylines to Watch
* **Can Daniel Jones prove he's a $40m QB?**
>A lot of Giants fans will probably collectively sigh or try to call me out for making this storyline #1, but it's important! And I don't think that I should just get up here and tell everyone "see Daniel Jones is good, he barely topped 200 passing yards per game, only threw 15 TDs, but he didn't turn the ball over at all really! And he added all the production he's missing in the pass game in the run game!"
>
>I'd say that my evaluation of best case scenario for him from last year's post was correct; a trailer, not a truck, someone who wasn't hurting the team, but wasn't necessarily lighting it up carrying the team.
>
>The Giants gave Jones a big contract that locks him in as their QB for the next 2 years. It's on Jones to prove them right and prove that he's worth that investment. Or else things go off the rails real quick for the Giants.
* **Development of Young Players**
>Joe Schoen has now had two draft classes under his belt, and it's important that we see those picks start to pay off. The 2022 class was a bumpy one; Kayvon Thibodeaux was pretty solid, but not the difference maker we're hoping he'll be. Evan Neal struggled to start the year, got hurt, and then struggled to rebound from that injury and just overall had a bad year. Wan'Dale Robinson was starting to catch on before tearing his ACL. Ezeudu and Flott didn't really get in the game much.
>
>For the future of the team's success, it's important to start seeing additional returns. It's been the Giants' MO recently for guys to have their best year their rookie year and never really recapture that. The Giants need to see some of these draft picks develop into quality players and help fill in the foundation that guys like Daniel Jones/Andrew Thomas/Dexter Lawrence are building.
* **Close Games**
>The Giants were in a lot of close games last year and came out on top a seemingly disproportionate amount. Including the playoff games, the Giants played 19 games.
>
>14 of them were 1 score margins. And in those games the Giants were 9-4-1. And one of those losses was that Week 18 game where the Giants rested their starters and the Eagles played their starters. In the 5 other games, the Giants were 1-4.
>
>Like I said before, not all of those games were really 1 score close type games, but generally it seems a little lucky. I'm interested to see if that can be sustainable, or if the Giants can win more games that don't come down to the wire.
* **Explosive Plays on Offense**
>The Giants rushing attack was actually towards the top of the league in explosive plays. But their passing attack was one of the worst we've seen at creating explosive plays in a long time.
>
>A big part of the reason why the Giants scoring offense ended up being around league average in scoring this year is because they simply didn't turn the ball over. The Giants had the lowest percentage of drives ending in turnovers in the NFL last year; that's another thing that I wonder about its sustainability.
>
>For this offense to take off and propel the Giants to success, it needs to become more explosive and rely less on long, clock eating drives to score.
* **Was 2022 A Mirage?**
>Brian Daboll was deservingly named Coach of the Year last year and Wink Martindale's Defense came up big in big moments. Their coaching was a huge impact on the Giants' success in 2022. But how sustainable will that prove in 2023?
>
>The Giants offense over the first 9 weeks was "feed Saquon Barkley and play against common knowledge tendencies". The Giants

Aaron Rodgers has matched the number of 12+ win seasons in 2 years with Lafluer as he did in 11 years with McCarthy. If they beat the Bears next week he will have more 13+ win seasons with Lafluer than with McCarthy.
In McCarthy's tenure with Rodgers the only years in which they won 12+ games were Rodgers MVP seasons of 2011(15-1) and 2014(12-4). The Packers also have posted a winning road record both of Lafluers seasons which was only done 3 times in the McCarthy/Rodgers era (2009, 2011, 2015). Lafluer is 25-6 as a head coach which is second best in the league over the last 2 seasons only to Reid's 26-5.

But silver linings might be harder to find in a couple days as the Vikings head into the Linc Thursday night to face an
extremely talented Eagles team.
18. | (/ATL) | Falcons | +6 | 1-0 | week 1 of the regular season saw Arthur Smith playing his favorite 1920s style of football.
19. | (/SEA) | Seahawks | -6 | 0-1 | The only way to summarize Seattle's week 1 is with one simple word: ugly.
20. | (/NE) | Patriots | -- | 0-1 | Welcome back to the salt mines, haters.
21. | (/OAK) | Raiders | +5 | 1-0 | As expected, the Raiders sit alone atop the AFCW after the first week of play.
22. | (/TB) | Buccaneers | +8 | 1-0 | Following an overall disappointing season by the Tompa Bay Buccaneers, the franchise replaced the 199th pick as their QB of choice with a #1 one. Needless to say, all eyes will be on the Tampa Bake Buccaneers this season after their first game of the season ended up above the expectations many had for the team this season. 2023 Official r/NFL Week 1 Power Rankings
Are the Giants brave enough to show their faces for checks notes three more primetime games by week six? How sustainable is a Falcons team that refuses to throw past the line of scrimmage? Football discussion time!

1. | (/SF) | 49ers | +4 | 1-0 | The 49ers dominated both sides of the ball in an impressive victory over a Steelers squad with playoff hopes. Brock Purdy answered all questions about his surgically repaired throwing arm by picking up right where he left off last season, and Nick Bosa shone on defense as the 49ers won 30-7. Next week the team heads to Los Angeles to take on the NFC West rival Rams.
2. | (/PHI) | Eagles | -- | 1-0 | Going into the season, the clearest weakness on paper was middle of the field on defense with young, unproven linebacker and safety corps.
3. | (/DAL) | Cowboys | +3 | 1-0 | That may have been one of the most one sided, three-phases dominant, go home early ass-whoopings in recent memory.
4. | (/KC) | Chiefs | -3 | 0-1 | Leading into the season most of the talk around the Chiefs dealt with Chris Jones and his impending extension.
5. | (/MIA) | Dolphins | +4 | 1-0 | Week 1 is in the books and it went about as good as any Dolphins fan can ask for.
6. | (/DET) | Lions | +6 | 1-0 |
7. | (/BAL) | Ravens | -- | 1-0 |
8. | (/BUF) | Bills | -4 | 1-0 | What an awful way to start the season, but at least most of the other big name quarterbacks also looked like shit. If there are some positives from this: Tyler Bass is the man, and the defense looked damn good, particularly the front four. The offense? Woof. The Jets have a good defense, but that

ran the ball early and often, including when down late in games and needing a score. And after the bye week, it seemed that defenses started to catch onto that strategy. This necessitated a change, which Daboll and Kafka did make, but the Giants offense still struggled at times. It will be interesting to see how much of the Giants' success in 2022 was predicated on that first half offense that was figured out, and how much the development and improvement of the roster will be able to overcome if the coaching is not "Coach of the Year" level.
>
>Wink Martindale's defense came up huge in huge moments all throughout the year, but they really weren't a special unit. Middle of the pack in scoring defense, but did give up a lot of yards, and especially in the run game. Where the Giants defense really stood out was on 3rd down and in the red zone, where the Giants ranked 5th and 10th respectively. Is that something that will be consistent for them? Can Wink's scheme continue to bolster a defense that still needs reinforcements? Or will he really need some of the young talent on this defense to step up?
>
>Add all of that to a few of the breakout/success stories the Giants had in 2022. We talked about Daniel Jones a little already. Will Dexter Lawrence continue to be one of the best defensive players in the NFL, or was 2022 just a huge contract year? Can Saquon Barkley recreate his success from 2022, or will the injury bug/post-ACL tear slumps get him, or will his contract status hang over his head all year?
>
>Proving that 2022 was the start of the future and not just a 2016-esque flash in the pan will be a critical goal for the 2023 Giants.
# Schedule Prediction
I'm going to do a shorter segment on this than years' past, just give a rundown of the Giants opponents with an "I literally did not think about this at all I just said win or loss" guess about whether the Giants should win or not.
Week 1: SNF vs DAL: Loss
Week 2: @ ARZ: Win
Week 3: TNF @ SF: Loss
Week 4: MNF vs SEA: Win
Week 5: @ MIA: Win
Week 6: SNF @ BUF: Loss
Week 7: vs WAS: Win
Week 8: vs NYJ: Win
Week 9: @ LV: Win
Week 10: @ DAL: Loss
Week 11: @ WAS: Win
Week 12: vs NE: Win
Week 13: BYE
Week 14: MNF vs GB: Win
Week 15: @ NO: Win
Week 16: @ PHI: Loss
Week 17: vs LAR: Win
Week 18: vs PHI: Loss
That would be 11-6, and that would be a bit of a surprise to me also, not gonna lie. I was not expecting to say that going into this exercise. I feel very strange advocating for that after so many years of me being the doomer "maybe we'll win 6 games if we're lucky." I don't feel like the Giants roster is good enough to be favored in 11 games, and I don't think that the Giants look like an 11 win team on paper.
There's definitely some tossups in there, I think that GB, NE, NYJ, MIA in particular are tough games that the Giants could for sure lose; I bet that a lot of fans of those teams read that and immediately rushed to the comments to say that they'd kick the Giants' asses. The "expected value" win numbers I have done in the past probably would be closer to .500, as I probably have more wins here than I'm really confident in.
But I think that the Giants should operate like they can and should expect themselves to win those games against fairly "equal" opponents.
I think that's important considering the things the Giants have done this offseason; they should view this as a season where they assert themselves as a good team. They may not do that, but they should approach this season that way. Last season was a step up into being a team you have to take seriously again after being a laughingstock for so long. This year should be another step up into being a team that we look at over the summer and go "yep that's a playoff team."
I think anything less than 8-9 wins would be kind of a wake up call, like maybe we rushed this and we're not really as good as we wanted to think we were after 2022. Not that it would be a failure that would cost people their jobs really, but just a signal to pump the brakes and continue to build this thing from
players I listed could realistically be major contributors, and I'd expect to see the usage change week to week. I'm hoping to see Hyatt work his way into the lineup sooner rather than later, but the Giants have the depth to let him sit and develop.
>
>The other interesting thing to look out for here is whether Wan'Dale Robinson and/or Sterling Shepard have to start the year on PUP. If so, that opens up roster spots for guys like Collin Johnson, Jeff Smith, Jamison Crowder, Bryce Ford-Wheaton, or recently signed Cole Beasley to really make a late push in camp.
* LB2
>Bobby Okereke is obviously a lock to be LB1, but the group behind him is basically just as bad as it was for the Giants last year.
>
>Darrian Beavers was actually in line to start at LB for the Giants last year before tearing his ACL in camp. He has also been the primary LB2 in camp through a couple of days.
>
>Micah McFadden (who was a higher draft pick) also has a chance to earn that spot. Or could someone like UDFA Dyontae Johnson step up like Mr. Irrelevant Tae Crowder did?
* Slot CB
>I have Darnay Holmes pencilled in for this one, he's been the primary slot corner in camp so far, but he ***stinks***. He got picked on frequently last year, and the holding/DPI penalties on 3rd downs that allowed offenses to stay on the field got real old, real fast.
>
>I'm hoping that Cor'Dale Flott will be able to get in there, as he was drafted to be a nickel defender. But some rumors have been floated that suggest the Giants now see him as a better fit on the boundary.
>
>The "forgotten man" in this battle is Aaron Robinson. Robinson was a 3rd round pick (71st overall) in 2021 and profiled as a prototypical slot defender. Injuries cost him most of his first two seasons, including a partially torn ACL and a torn MCL in 2022.
>
>The Giants also have some other options if they're really pressed. Zyon Gilbert was a UDFA last year who filled in in the slot at times last year. I don't think he'll make the 53 but if he balls out at camp, or as a PS callup in a pinch, he's an option. Adoree' Jackson has experience in the slot and the Giants could kick him inside in nickel and let a more boundary profile guy step in like Amani Oruwariye or if they think Flott is a boundary corner.
>
>The Giants need a stable presence in the slot, and they might not have one right now.
* S2
>With the loss of Julian Love, the safety spot opposite Xavier McKinney is completely open. Pinnock and Belton both played a bit last year and had their ups and downs. Most often they played as deep cover safeties.
>
>McCain is a vet who you kind of know what you'll get from. He's not very good in the box but has a history of ball production as a free safety.
>
>And Nick McCloud, formerly a CB who Schoen claimed from Buffalo last year and was actually serviceable in 2022, has now been converted to safety this offseason. He probably profiles better as a more in the box safety.
>
>The Giants frequently ran 3 safety sets last year to help take LBs off the field, but how they handle it this season will be interesting to watch. A lot of it depends on how Wink decides to use McKinney this year. Last year he used McKinney in the box most often, so the deep safety guys probably would have a leg up. But with Okereke in the fold, maybe Wink feels comfortable with moving McKinney out of the box more often.
* RB2
>With Saquon officially reporting to camp, this battle gets a little less interesting. But it's still important, because Saquon's effectiveness historically is at its highest in Games 1-4 and Games 13+, while the middle 8 games tends to bring a slump of sorts. Having a quality backup for him to take some reps will be a big help to keep him fresh and smooth out his season.
>
>Matt Breida was RB2 last year, he's been in this offense already, and he brings some of the explosive play potential that you usually would lose with Saquon being off the field.
>
>Eric Gray is 5th round rookie who is a natural and violent runner. He would make sense as someone to help
