after installing nikgapps (version from december 31, 2024; clean flash ofc) with lineage os 22.1 (realme 9 pro 5g, oscar), nfc stopped working in rom.
after booting into the system nfc works, but for example after trying to read a bank card, nfc just stops working, the possibility to enable it in the settings disappears, the nfc section in the settings is empty.
as I understand it, nfc works until you try to use it.

I recently flashed the A15 crdroid build on my OP7Pro and afterwards, as usual, the gapps build (I'll link it in a second) and gapps size was a wee bit bigger than available partition size, but there were no errors during installation.
Could that have an effect on the installation process? I haven't noticed anything system wide, but I'm very curious to know if there is anything in the log

Yes, as long as the installation is successful and not showing up any error. We're good, the reason why you were able to install it successfully despite gapps size being bigger is because during the installation aosp apps are replaced with Google apps, so those apps free up some space.

where to find NikGapps logs?
if you are unencrypted or decryption work in your ROM you can find NikGapps logs inside NikGapps folder from your internal storage
sdcard/NikGapps
if your ROM encrypted you can do the following command from cmd
adb pull /tmp/NikGappsScripts/nikgapps_logs
alternatively it's available in /system/etc/nikgapps_logs/
