5 BENDA YANG CONSISTENTLY PROFITABLE 10% TRADERS ADA, TAPI 90% YANG LAIN TAKDE
selalu orang sebut : "after 5 years, only 10% traders will make money, and the remaining 90% lose money"
memang ada studies pasal nie (dekat UK and US). researcher compare amount of capitals in trading account at the beginning vs after 5 years. only 10% yang masih maintain trading and the capitals actually increasing, as compared to the remaining 90%
tapi, what is it actually that these 10% traders do, and the remaining 90% traders dont?
saya pun taktahu actually. tapi based on my readings and experiences, I would say the followings :-
1 - 10% traders tak quit, even after 5 years. walaupun 5 years tu pun masih belum konsisten profits. 90% traders quit after 2-5 years.
2 - 10% traders ada sifat continuous learning. baca buku, join seminar, join webinar, baca artikel, study past charts, buat journaling. 90% traders nak shortcut, bertahun-tahun trade satu buku trading pun tak pernah baca.
how can someone become an expert in stocks market trading without ever reading any trading book? its basically impossible to do
one might argue dengar teaching, seminar, webinar, courses, dah cukup. but to me it is still not enough.
reading has different effect as compared to listening or watching
3 - 10% traders play the long-term game. 90% traders aim for short-term. ini pengalaman dari diri sendiri and klien2 yang join JD.
most of them starts making profits once they stopped swing trading, do position trading, and learn to sit through pullbacks, corrections and sideways (their words, not mine - but I had the same experiences too)
4 - 10% traders have the capability to be independent. tak perlu group telegram, tak perlu buycall, tak perlu confirmation dari orang lain. 90% traders are looking for confirmation of what theyre doing elsewhere or from someone else
5 - 10% traders ada trading system yang bertulis. this is the toughest one. but once you have this (trading system yang bertulis), I would say your trading will exponentially improve
SUMMARY
1 - tak quit after 5 years, walaupun masih belum profitable
2 - continuous learning, banyak baca buku
3 - play the long term game, sit through pullbacks, corrections & sideways
4 - independent thinking
5 - ada trading system yang bertulis
