Yeah it’s very true but transaction heavy game like ours would cost a lot to players on eth, it’s a tricky balance but development on polygon is crazy right now. It’s not got a lot of trade volume comparatively right sure but it’s not a dead chain in terms of usage - we will monitor though as i said it’s always a possibility

This is not the case, because the amount that landed in my wallet is only the amount showing in the ICE Earned in my dashboard when I did the withdrawal. The amount that is missing in my staked amount did not appear in my wallet.

The "rewards" part you can withdraw is a mixture of,

1. APY earned
2. 11 Months worth of your original locked amount.

Both will now be in your wallet, and you remaining "locked" amount is 1 month worth roughly (1/12th of original stake)

The expiry just means the ‘end’ of the rewards, it’s constantly feeding into the other pool by the end if you’ve been withdrawing repeatedly you’ll have all OG stake + rewards or be able to withdraw them

I am only withdrawing staked earnings not the staked amount. I don't see the reason why my staked amount is being reduced when I am only withdrawing the staked earnings.
And if what you said is correct, that amount should also reflect in my wallet after the transaction.

Yeah nothing would have reduced , the way to think of it is your staking continuously siphons off into a reward pot, this includes the total staked amount so at some point the whole amount plus rewards will be withdrawable, when it’s over that staked amount is no longer staked so that no longer shows (you’ve claimed it all essentially)
