Lets say the best option is to run your own node and leave it online 24/7 on a lightweight 10W pc
Best choice is ubuntu but many other distributions run well also
Major advance are,
• you dont need to submit your pkey over the internet,
• you can stake (PoS)
• The chance to get hacked is minimized when you have a dedicated machine, not running whatever else nonsense
