A good point - Quantum resistance isnt a hype but a serious scientific and legal approach ie by the NIST started 5ys ago which led to new fips standard announcements just two months ago :)
Those will find mainly their ways into ie key exchange procedures (pki) but not conflicting with chain stored hashing dependencies...

You're absolutely right quantum computers are still far from being able to break or mine blockchains.
That’s why new protections like SPHINCS+ are already being added to security standards.
And yes, quantum physics is fascinating… but super complex! It’s always smart to stay careful with all the hype 😅

In short, quantum supremacy offers new possibilities in searching solution spaces. This lets say effective pattern matching and recovery skills are already addressed within the latest FIPS (203+).

We ll probably see new routines implemented ie SPHINCS+ etcpp around DSA parts addressing post quantum resistance measures, replacing older FIPS (like new libs etcpp)
The other way round, using pqs 'computers' to compute blocks and in specific store a chain or such is upon nowadays known concepts of quantum computers best case ineffective if not nonsense just by the way they work. Just dig a bit yourself in ie keeping qbits entangled over timeframes or results of qbits with a minimum of 4 states where 2 are undecided ones which is the absolute opposite you may want when its about keeping former states and verify them later.
Unfortunately my pt is less than basic so i cant say much ofher about that vid as the above atm.
In general the understanding how things really work, especially ie in the quantum space including uncertanties by system can easily lead to weird myths and speculations, so be really careful unless you wont dig deep into Feynmans work, Planck and Heisenbergs findings.
A neat Feynmans saying, who believes to understand quantum mechanics does not understand quantum mechanics is a good ruler to have in hands when ppls talk about quantum mechanics 😁
