O’Keefe Testifies in Federal Court as Project Veritas Seeks Protective Order to Restrict Speech Amid Reacquisition Talks
I’m appearing in federal court in New York today to testify about the revelations we exposed in The Truth Inside Veritas, as negotiations continue over the potential reacquisition of Project Veritas.
Despite these ongoing talks, Project Veritas has filed a motion for a protective order as an attempt to prevent me from speaking publicly about the proceedings.
Ironically, their own legal filing admits that nothing I’ve said violates the order, yet raises concerns about a so-called 'hypothetical' video that might exist online.
Cameras aren’t allowed in the courtroom, but I’ll share an update after today’s testimony.

The federal judge has also rejected Project Veritas’ motion to bar me from attending the depositions.

Happy 70th birthday to Mom, who instilled in me humility, authenticity, forgiveness, and balance.
She taught me to dance in the living room, to care deeply about right and wrong, and never to judge others by outward appearances. She encouraged me to think deeply and live meaningfully. Mom was often the only mother who joined me on Boy Scout trips, and in recent years, she’s been my companion on morning hikes in Harriman Park.
She pushed me to be the best version of myself, but she was also my best friend growing up. A dreamer with a kind heart and an incredible work ethic as a physical therapist, she has always led by example. Most of all, I saw her stand by Dad through his darkest days—and stand by me through mine.
That makes her one in a million.
There’s so much more I could say, but for now—happy birthday, Mom. The best decade starts now.
