Surah Al Hajj 46

Kya yeh log zameen mein chale phire nahin hain ke inke dil samajhne wale aur inke kaan sunney wale hote? Haqeeqat yeh hai ke aankhein andhi nahin hoti magar woh dil andhey ho jaate hain jo seeno mein hain.

❝Beware of overburdening oneself, extremism, going beyond bounds and self-amazement. Humble yourself for Allāh, maybe He will raise you.❞

Surah Al Isrā' 1

Paak hai woh jo le gaya ek raat apne banday ko masjid e haraam se door ki us masjid tak jiske maahol ko usne barakat di hai, taa-ke usey apni kuch nishaniyon ka mushahida karaye (dikhaye). Haqeeqat mein wahi hai sab kuch sunney aur dekhne wala.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

Piety has 3 Levels:

1. Protecting the hearts and limbs against sins and forbidden actions

2. Protecting them against undesirable matters

3. Protection against curiosity and whatever is not of one’s concern

Surah An Nūr 26

Khabees (Impure) auratein khabees mardon ke liye hain aur khabees (Impure) mard khabees (Impure) auraton ke liye. Paakeeza auratein pakeeza mardon ke liya hain aur pakeeza mard pakeeza auraton ke liye. Unka daaman paak hai un baaton se jo banane wale banate hain. Unke liye magfirat hai aur rizq e kareem.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“The person who treats others kindly and thinks well of them, will find that his intention will remain true, he will feel at ease, his heart will be sound and Allah will protect him from evil and calamity.”

Surah Al Ahzāb 32

Nabi ki biwiyon, tum aam auraton ki tarah nahin ho. Agar tum Allah se darne wali ho to dabi zubaan se baat na kiya karo ke dil ki kharabi ka mubtala koi shaks lalach mein padh jaaye, balke saaf seedhi baat karo.

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim:

“A person should walk a number of steps after eating at night even if it is merely a hundred steps, and he should not sleep right after eating as it causes great harm (to one's body).”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I met Ibrahim on the night of my ascent, so he said: ‘O Muhammad, recite Salam from me to your nation, and inform them that Paradise has pure soil and delicious water, and that it is a flat treeless plain, and that its seeds are: “Glory is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh) [and] all praise is due to Allah (Al-ḥamdulillāh) and ‘none has the right to be worshipped but Allah’ (Lā ilāha illallāh), and Allah is the greatest (Allāhu Akbar).”

Surah An Naba 1-9

Yeh log kis cheez ke baare mein pooch-gajj kar rahe hain? Kya us badi khabar ke baare mein.
Jiske mutaaliq yeh mukhtalif che-mei-goiyan (disagreement) karne mein lage huey hain?
Hargiz nahin an-qareeb inhein maloom ho jayega. Haan hargiz nahin, an-qareeb inhein maloom ho jayega. Kya yeh waqiya nahin hai ke humne zameen ko farsh banaya. Aur pahadon ko mekhon (pegs) ki tarah gaad diya. Aur tumhein (mardon aur auraton ke) jodon ki shakal mein paida kiya. Aur tumhari neend ko baais e sukoon banaya.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"No doubt, it is better for a person to take a rope and proceed in the morning to the mountains and cut the wood and then sell it, and eat from this income and give alms from it than to ask others for something."

It was said to Hatim Al-Asam (rahimahullah):

“Upon what have you based your Tawakkul (Trust & Reliance) on?”

So he said,

"Upon 4 things:

1. I know that my Rizq (Provision) will not be consumed
by other than me, so my Nafs (Soul) is content.

2. I know that none shall carry out my acts of worship, so
I busy myself with that.

3. I know that death shall come to me suddenly, so l
prepare for it.

4. I know that I am never free from the sight of Allah, so l
feel shyness before Him."

Surah Al Ankabūt 45

(Aey Nabi) Tilawat karo is kitaab ki jo tumhari taraf wahee ke zairye se bheji gayi hai. Aur namaz qayam karo, yaqeenan namaz fahash (behayayi) aur bure kaamon se rokti hai. Aur Allah ka zikr is se bhi zyada badi cheez hai. Allah jaanta hai jo kuch tum log karte ho.

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ) said;

Young children are rewarded for their good deeds, even though the pen is lifted from them for their misdeeds.

الأمور التي تجري فيها الأحكام الخمسة

Actions during prayer vary according to the 5 rulings:

1⃣. It is Wājib (obligatory) if the validity of the prayer depends on it.
Eg. During the prayer a man remembers that his turban has urine stains; if he removes this turban immediately - he can continue praying and the prayer is valid, otherwise the prayer becomes invalid. Thus, this act of removing the turban is wājib in this case.
Eg. A sister's hijāb loosens and her hair starts to show; she must tuck the hair in and tighten her hijab immediately in order for the prayer to be valid. Otherwise, exposing her ’Awrah intentionally will render the prayer invalid.
Eg. Preventing a woman from walking infront of you during the prayer (if you are praying alone or you the imām).
Eg. Someone trustworthy informs you that you are facing the wrong direction, you must turn towards the correct Qiblah direction.

2⃣. It is Ḥarām (forbidden) if it will render the prayer invalid.
Eg. Eating, drinking, talking, laughing...intentionally
Eg. Adding an extra rukn or wajib act intentionally.
Eg. Constant, repetitive movements without there being any need...constantly playing with the beard

3⃣. It is Mustaḥabb (recommended) if there's evidence to indicate that such action is recommended during the prayer
Eg. Responding to salām by raising the hand
Eg. Spittling thrice to the left when experiencing bad thoughts in Ṣalāh

4⃣. It is Mubāḥ (allowed) if there's a need
Eg. Scratching an itch in order to cool it down

5⃣. It is Makrooḥ (disliked) in all other cases.

Humne is se pehle Moosa ko kitaab di thi aur usey bani Israel ke liye zariya e hidayat banaya tha, is takeed ke saath ke mere siwa kisi ko apna wakeel(guardian) na banana.
Tum un logon ki aulad ho jinhein humne Nooh ke saath kashti par sawar kiya tha, aur Nooh ek shukarguzar banda tha.

Imām Al-Ājurry رحمه الله said:

"Do not be sad over knowledge that was beyond your grasp.
Be sad over knowledge that you have but do not act upon."

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ أَبُو بِشْرٍ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بُدَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : «إِنَّ لِلَّهِ أَهْلِينَ مِنَ النَّاسِ» قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ : «هُمْ أَهْلُ الْقُرْآنِ ، أَهْلُ اللَّهِ وَخَاصَّتُهُ»

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah has His own people among mankind.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, who are they?' He said: 'The people of the Qur'an, the people of Allah and those who are closest to Him.'

‎Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

‎“Whoever finds their joy in Salah in this life, will find their joy in being close to Allāh in the Hereafter, and will also find his joy in Allāh in this world.

Whoever finds his joy in Allāh will be content with everything. And whoever does not find his joy in Allāh, will be destroyed by his feelings of grief and regret for worldly matters.”

Surah Yaseen 78-79

Ab woh humpar misaalein chaspan karta hai aur apni paidaish ko bhool jata hai , kehta hai “kaun in haddiyon ko zinda karega jabke yeh boseeda (rotten) ho chuki hon?”
Ussey kaho,inhein wahi zinda karega jisne pehle inhein paida kiya tha, aur woh takhleeq (creation) ka har kaam jaanta hai.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

“Immediate repentance is obligatory after committing a sin.

It is not permissible to delay it.

Whenever someone delays it, he has committed (another) sin by delaying it.In this case, when he repents from the sin (itself), another act of repentance remains a duty upon him - that he must repent for delaying his repentance!.”

Surah Yaseen 55-60

 Aaj jannati log mazey karne mein mashgul hain.
Woh aur unki biwiyan ghanay saayon (shades) mein hain masnadon par takiye lagaye huey.
Har qisam ki lazeez cheezein khane peene ko unke liye wahan maujood hain, jo kuch woh talab karein unke liye haazir hai.
Rubb e Raheem ki taraf se unko salaam kaha gaya hai.
Aur aey mujrimon, aaj tum chatt kar alag ho jao.
Adam ke bacchon, kya maine tumko hidayat na ki thai ke shaytan ki bandagi na karo, woh tumhara khula dushman hai.

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: 

“Do not think that it was your soul that drove you to doing goodness, rather you are a servant who Allah loved, so do not waste this love or He will forget you” 

[‘Iddat Al-Sābirīn]

Surah Ibrāhīm 46

Unhon ne apni saari hi chalein chal dekhi, magar unki har chaal ka toad Allah ke paas tha, agarche unki chaalein aisi gazab ki thi ke pahad unse tal jayein.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said,

"When nightfalls, then keep your children close to you, for the devil spread out then. An hour later you can let them free; and close the gates of your house (at night), and mention Allah's Name thereupon, and cover your utensils, and mention Allah's Name thereupon, (and if you don't have something to cover your utensil) you may put across it something (e.g. a piece of wood etc.).

Duʿa of Prophet Sulayman ﷺ for Gratitude to Allah & Doing Good Deeds

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِيْٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِيْٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ ، وَأَدْخِلْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ.

Rabbi awziʿnī an ashkura niʿmataka-l-latī anʿamta ʿalayya wa ʿalā wālidayya wa an aʿmala ṣāliḥan tarḍāh, wa adhkilnī bi-raḥmatika fī ʿibādika-ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do good deeds that please You. And admit me by Your mercy amongst Your righteous servants. (27:19)

Surah Ra'ad 11

Haqeeqat yeh hai ke Allah kisi qaum ke haal ko nahin badalta jab tak woh khud apne awsaf ko nahin badal deti, aur jab Allah kisi qaum ki shamat (punishment/retribution) laane ka faisla karle to phir woh kisi ke taaley nahin tal sakti, na Allah ke muqable mein aisi qaum ka koi haami o madadgaar ho sakta hai.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The angels supplicate in favour of one of you so long as he remains in the place where he has performed Salat (prayer) in a state of Wudu'. They (the angels) say: 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! Have mercy on him."'

[Al- Bukhari].

Surah Yunus 10

Ḥasan al-Baṣrī رحمه الله said: “Whoever wants to measure himself, then let him judge himself by the verses in the Qur’an.”
